In a recent interview, Adele revealed that they have reconnected, saying, “We’re becoming friends again. It’s alright, I know what I’m doing. Enough time has gone by.” Well Adele — The Dishmaster knows what you’re doing too — and we vote no on the bad idea. Though I’m all for staying Facebook friends with ex-boyfriends (because I’m “mature”), “becoming [real] friends again” sounds like emotional suicide. Here’s hoping (or not hoping) we get another album out of this one. I predict it will be titled ’23.’
