I’m still heartbroken over Nora Ephron’s death, and I’m therefore posting one of my favorite love soliloquies in movie history. It makes sense that it’s written by a woman, and it’s a style only Nora could properly illustrate. Ephron once said that the character “most like her” is Sally. Ephron called herself “optimistic” and said she “makes waiters unhappy.”
