Eric Hutchinson Releases ‘Tell the World’ — WATCH LYRIC VIDEO

As an Eric Hutchinson fan, you can imagine my elation to hear his new single, “Tell the World.” Of the song’s inspiration, Hutchinson tells USA Today that he took a jab at our social media obsession, most notably how “we’re all obsessed with sharing only the best moments of our lives.” He goes on to explain that “It creates a fair amount of anxiety and jealousy online. You start to look at the Internet and think, ‘Am I the only person having a bad day?'” When I interviewed Eric Hutchinson, he explained his ability to write sad topics in a happy tempo, likening the practice to The Beatles who mastered that craft.
