In news we all saw coming, Robin Thicke lost to Marvin Gaye’s family, who fought to protect a tune they feel was clearly copied by Thicke and Pharrell. According to TMZ, this puts them on the hook for over $7 million, after complicated calculations of earnings. As for what’s next for Thicke, perhaps this will humble him (sources tell me the success went to his head — to say the least). Listen to both tracks below.
