Sandra Bullock Pulls out of London Premiere of ‘The Blind Side’

This is crazy.  Sandra Bullock has pulled out of the UK premiere of ‘The Blind Side.’  The premiere was set for next Tuesday, but Warner Bros. canceled it after Bullock pulled out due to “unforeseen personal circumstances.”  The tabloids are growing crazy with speculation that Jesse James cheated on Bullock while she was filming ‘The Blind Side.’  This might strike you as nuts considering she just discussed her happy marriage on Barbara Walters’ Oscar special.  Not that I believe it, but keep in mind that that Oscar special is filmed quite some time before the Oscars, and it just looks current because of when it is aired.

The Dixie Chicks are Reuniting on Tour

The ‘Dixie Chicks’ are back!  The group hasn’t released a new album since their successful 2006 album, ‘Taking the Long Way.’  Fans feared the end of the ‘Dixie Chicks,’ when Martie Maguire and Emily Robison formed a new group without lead singer Natalie Maines, called ‘Court Yard Hounds.’  Fear not! Their tour begins in Toronto on June 8, 2010.  The Eagles and Keith Urban will also be joining them.  No word yet on whether the group will start recording new music anytime soon.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler Love to Keep us Guessing

These two are at it again.  Here’s a brief recap: Jennifer Aniston is pissed that the media is accusing her of faking a relationship with Gerard Butler to promote ‘The Bounty Hunter.’  She’s hates the accusation, but she and Butler still enjoy plenty of friendly pawing.  See the snuggle fest below.

‘American Idol’ Needs to Bring Back Alex Lambert

It’s definitely not possible to bring a contestant back at this point.  That being said, the fact that Alex Lambert didn’t make the top 12 on American Idol, further proves my point that they should have had a wild card round this season.  Lambert might end up with a great career though.  His online following is growing.  Watch him perform below so that you can join me in my disappointment.

Director of ‘The Cove’ Finally Gets to Give his Oscar Speech

Louie Psihoyos, director of ‘The Cove,’ was finally able to give the Oscar speech that he was robbed of at the actual ceremony.  I’m not sure if you noticed this at the Oscars, but when ‘The Cove’ won for Best Documentary, Ric O’Barry (a dolphin activist) held up a sign that said “Text Dolphin to 44144.”  The Oscars freaked out when they saw the sign, and they turned off Psihoyos’ microphone while quickly cutting away from the stage.  As a result, Psihoyos was unable to give his speech.  George Lopez came to the rescue on ‘Lopez Tonight.’  Watch his speech below.

Eddy Grant Accuses Gorillaz of Ripping off His Song

Eddy Grant has accused Gorillaz of ripping off his song, ‘Time Warp,’ for their new song, ‘Stylo.’  Because Grant and Gorillaz share the same label, Grant is pissed at EMI for not alerting him to the rip-off.  I have listened to both songs and definitely see similarities, though I don’t know that it’s blazingly obvious.  Listen below and see what you think.
