Sex and the City 2 Cast Interview With Entertainment Weekly – Read the Highlights

I’d recommend getting the entire interview because they discuss the history of the show.  But read the highlights below.

Sarah Jessica Parker on her favorite scene
“[I]t’s the “up the butt” one.  If I had to pick one scene that people are like, “That’s what that show is!” in the worst possible way, it’s that one.  But in the best way, too.”

Kristin Davis on her first day with Sarah Jessica Parker
“Sarah Jessica had this big thing of Krispy Kreme doughnuts,a nd she invited me to her trailer.  She said, “Let’s hang out and get to know each other.”  We had 18 hour days, so we bonded pretty quickly.  The most famous person on the set, you take their lead.”

David Eigenberg (Steve) on auditioning for the show
“I remember having to fake an orgasm in their office once.  That was awful.”

Jason Lewis (Smith) on his first day with the show
“I was nervous as hell . . . .  I was supposed to be objectified by 30 or 40 women.  It was like a kid going to his first day at a new school . . . and I realized I didn’t know a single soul.  And then Kristin Davis came by and swooped me up.”

Chris Noth (Big) on the show in general
“it was just fucking funny in a way that’s irreverent, in a way that TV never was before.”

Spoilers on Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, and Private Practice

On Grey’s Anatomy, Mark is evidently going to try and get Lexie back. Does this mean that we’ll never see that awful blonde hair on the show again? Shonda Rimes tells TV Guide that “there is a very surprising, very lovely moment coming where Mark takes a stand and makes a play for Lexie.”

Gossip Girl fans can either rejoice or get angry. Billy Baldwin will return to the show to stir up trouble. Because the show films in New York and he lives in Los Angeles, his appearances will be scattered.

Does Maya die on Private Practice?  Apparently not.  Someone will though.  Keep the guesses coming and watch the promo below for a hint.

The Dish – Tabloid Review

Mel Gibson denies that he cheated on Oksana Grigorieva with porn star Violet Kowal while Grigorieva was pregnant.  Grigorieva has yet to confirm the reports, but she originally told the press that they split “suddenly and recently,” and the “truth will come out.”  Gibson is such a stand up guy, I can’t possibly believe he’d be a cheater.
Anne Hathaway’s new boyfriend Adam Shulman, is being accused of theft.  He allegedly walked off with a mural painted by street artist Mr. Brainwash.  The mural was on a building in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district.  If this story is true, she sure knows how to pick them.
Larry King and his wife Shawn King have reconciled.  To quote the great Howard Stern, “why get half of Larry’s money when you could have all of it.”
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt may not film the series finale of ‘The Hills.’  I suppose if you want to stay on a television show, you should refrain from accusing the Executive Producer of sexual harassment.
Britney Spears and her boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick have “split professionally.”  They are officially no longer mixing business with pleasure.  He’s just her boyfriend now.
Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft is pregnant.  Love really does exist outside of television.
Matt Lauer and his wife, Annette Roque, have split amidst reports that he cheated.  Lauer reminds me of that dorky kid in high school that never got the girl and now that he’s famous he wants as much pussy as humanly possible.

Howard Stern Promotes Cindy Lauper’s Version of ‘Crossroads’

Who would think that Howard Stern would like Cindy Lauper? He played a great clip of Cindy singing ‘Crossroads’ on his show today. The song is incredible. Listen below.

‘Private Practice’ Spoiler – What Happens to Mya?

It looks like Shonda Rimes is up to her old tricks again.  And by “old tricks,” I mean taking what was once a fun show and turning it into something so depressing that you want to kill yourself by the end of the episode.  Watch a clip from next week’s episode below.

My Favorite Song From Tonight’s ‘Glee’ – Jesse’s Girl

It’s hard to pick which performance I liked best from tonight’s episode.  They were all incredible.  Since I must select one though (due to my self-imposed blog instructions), I have to say that Cory Monteith won the night with his rendition of Rick Springfield’s ‘Jesse’s Girl.’  Listen below.

Erin Andrews Responds to Elizabeth Hasselbeck: "That Bitch Never Called"

Erin Andrews responded to Elizabeth Hasselbeck’s tearful apology on ‘The View.’ In case you missed it, Hasselbeck said that she took the advice of her five year old daughter and called Andrews to ask forgiveness for basically saying that she’s a slut – followed by a reference to her stalker.  Well, Andrews calls bull-shit.  She said that she never spoke to Hasselbeck.  Andrews was admittedly angry about the initial comments, stating that she cried when she heard it.  She said that her biggest complaint is that Hasselbeck “made a mockery of something [she’s] lived through this last year.”  She felt like it was a “slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”  This isn’t the first time that Hasselbeck has been called out for lying on ‘The View.’  When she and Rosie O’Donnell had their infamous fight, Hasselbeck claimed that they spoke and made up.  O’Donnell refuted the claims, saying that even though Hasselbeck called her house, she didn’t answer the phone and the two never talked.  Watch Hasselbeck’s apology below.

American Idol Conspiracy in the Works – The Judges Sabotage Casey James

I just finished watch American Idol, and once again found myself infuriated.  Casey James had a fantastic performance with ‘Mrs. Robinson,’ and yet the judges didn’t like it.  Either they are trying to influence America to to kick him out, or they are incredibly stupid.  I think it might be the ladder.  Did I mention that Kara DioGuardi is extremely irritating?  Can she at least make an effort to dress a little hotter?  She looked like a school principal.  Watch Casey’s performance.

Mtv Will Replace the ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Next Season

Get your picket signs ready.  Mtv plans on replacing the entire cast of ‘Jersey Shore.’  What will Snooki do now?  No reason was given for the decision, but my guess is it’s more financial than creative.  Mtv probably attributes the show’s success to the concept rather than the specific cast members, and they think they can strike gold twice with less overhead.  They know that the current cast will request a major salary increase at the end of Season 2, and so they figure they’ll sack them and get some cheaper nobodys.  Big mistake guys.
