Best Original Song Nominees Will not be Performing at the Oscars

Written by , Posted in General

Arists nominated for best original song will not be performing at this year’s Oscars. One of the nominees is allegedly outraged by this revelation. This marks the second year in a row that the Oscars have messed with these performances. Last year the songs were shortened, causing Peter Gabriel to boycott his performance, because he didn’t want to ruin his song by chopping it down. This is such a bummer. It’s one of my favorite parts of the show. Listen to the nominated songs below.

Kevin Eubanks Leaving The Tonight Show

Written by , Posted in General

Kevin Eubanks, the guy who laughs at all of Jay Leno’s jokes, will be leaving The Tonight Show to pursue other projects. Though he is expected to be there when The Tonight Show returns on March 1st, he won’t be there much longer after that. Is Eubanks really “stepping down” or was he pushed out to breathe new life into Leno’s show? Maybe I’ve become too cynical.

Sarah Palin is Not Happy With Family Guy

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

In a recent episode of Family Guy, one of the characters has a date with a girl that has down syndrome, and the girl’s mother is the former governor of Alaska. Sarah Palin wasn’t pleased. I hate to say that I agree with Sarah Palin about anything, but I just didn’t find it too funny. Seth Macfarlane, the creator of Family Guy, released a statement saying “from its inception, ‘Family Guy’ has used biting satire as the foundation of its humor. The show is an “equal-opportunity offender.” Watch the clip below to see Sarah Palin’s comments. I also posted a second clip which……okay I laughed a little. Dammit!
