‘Shrek Forever After’ Trailer Released

Watch the trailer below for the new Shrek film. The film hits theaters May 21, 2010, and is said to be the final installment in the Shrek series (time will tell if that is actually true).  I’d give you a plot summary but after reading about the film, I still cannot make sense of it.

Jamie Foxx Responds to Howard Stern Calling him Gay

Jamie Foxx responded to Howard Stern calling him a homosexual, with a series of insults that makes me hope Jamie Foxx disappears off the face of the planet.  First of all, he called Stern’s sidekick, Robin Quivers, a “nigger bitch.”  Second, he joked about Artie Lange’s horrific suicide attempt.  Third, he denied being gay, with a series of gay impersonations that I found to be juvenile and offensive.  The funny thing about this is that I actually believe Jamie Foxx to be a homosexual.  I’ve heard it amidst many Hollywood rumors, and Stern’s confirmation convinced me.  Though I admit I’ve never actually seen him have sex with a man.  Anyways, he’s a horrible person for all of the above reasons.  Listen to the audio below and judge for yourself.

Nicollette Sheridan Sues ‘Despeate Housewives’ Creator Marc Cherry!!!

My jaw dropped to the floor when I heard this.  Nicollete Sheridan is suing Marc Cherry, the creator of ‘Desperate Housewives,’ for assault and battery, gender violence, and wrongful termination.  She alleges that he slapped her in the face on the set, and when she complained, he fired her.  She also claims he created a hostile work environment, as he was “abusive and aggressive.”  Wow.  The tabloids reported the slap a long time ago, but Cherry dismissed it and the story died.  It was also reported that Sheridan was so angry about her firing, she ransacked her trailer before leaving.  Maybe those stories were true after all.

John Corbett and Bo Derek are a Couple – Who Knew?

In a recent interview, John Corbett described how he met his girlfriend of 8 years, Bo Derek.  All I could think was – What?!  I never even knew they were together.  You might remember Bo Derek as the extremely beautiful woman that Dudley Moore’s character was obsessed with in the film ’10.’   A friend set her and Corbett up after Corbett told the friend that he needed  a date for an Oscar party.  I suppose I think this is so odd because I figured Corbett would be with some young up and coming Hollywood actress, that was nipping at his heels for the spotlight [insert George Clooney joke here].  She’s still got it though!

Watch Video of the ‘Glee’ cast performing at the White House

It was reported a while ago that Michelle Obama invited the cast to ‘Glee’ to perform at the White House Easter Egg Roll.  Watch video of the performance below.

Jennifer Lopez Recording Session Outtake Leaked

Audio from Jennifer Lopez’s recording session has leaked, and it’s pretty funny. She is covering Barbara Streisand’s song, ‘Enough is Enough,’ and has some trouble getting in key.  It’s nice to see her laugh at herself and be a little self-deprecating.  Listen below.

Slash on Axl Rose: "I Know How Vehemently he Hates me"

Slash stated in a recent interview that he would welcome having a conversation with Axl Rose, but he doubts it would happen because he knows how “vehemently he hates [him].”  He went on to say that he thinks Rose’s comeback record was phenomenal.  Aww….so cute.  Maybe we have a reunion in the works.  After all, Rose’s anger toward Slash costs him the hundreds of millions of dollars that he would earn with a real ‘Guns N’ Roses’ reunion.  It’s time to get the original guys together!!

Judge Throws out Shareholder Lawsuit Against Marvel and Stan Lee

A federal judge dismissed the case against Marvel Entertainment, Inc and Stan Lee.  The issue surrounding the lawsuit began in 1988, when Stan Lee transferred rights to the Marvel characters to Walt Disney Co.  The judge ruled that the shareholders bringing the lawsuit lacked standing to sue, as they acquired their shares in 1999, which is a year after conduct in question occurred.  He also said that the shareholders waited too long to enforce their rights, because they sued more than 10 years after the transfer.
