‘Glee’ Cast Will Appear on Oprah
Mike Ausiello confirms that the cast of ‘Glee’ will appear on the April 7th episode of Oprah. The entire show will be devoted to ‘Glee,’ and the cast is set to perform. Glee’s popularity just keeps on growing. They recently increased the amount of shows for their upcoming tour, and FOX confirmed that season 2 of the show will have even more episodes than originally planned. That and everyone and their mother is doing a guest appearance next season.
Olive Newton-John is Joining Glee
Not only is Olivia Newton-John appearing on Glee, but she is also singing ‘Let’s Get Physical’ alongside Jane Lynch. Lynch has never sang on the show before, and I am looking forward to it. I love this show.
Sue Sylvestor Gets a Rival
Molly Shannon is joining Glee as Sue Sylvestor’s rival. Her character is described as a “busty 45-year-old new astronomy teacher and badminton coach at McKinley High School who is both an alcoholic and a pill-popper.” That sounds wonderful! Jane Lynch is one of the funniest actresses out there, so it only makes sense to put her up against Molly Shannon for insane hilarity. The folks over at Glee sure have been busy with casting decisions during the American Idol hiatus. First Idina Menzel, then Neil Patrick Harris, and now Molly Shannon!
