#Curb Your Enthusiasm Returns to HBO

CURB PERSPECTIVE

Fans of HBO’s most beloved show can breathe a big sigh of relief today because Larry David will return with the ninth season of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’ No other details have been divulged, but David is notorious for his ebb-and-flow excitement for his signature show, signing one year contracts each year for fear he won’t be in the mood to return. He leaves even his actors in the dark, who often inquire as to whether they should keep their schedule open for a possible return. When asked what motivated his decision, David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’” Here’s to another season of David’s socially awkward antics.

Rosie O’Donnell on Curb Your Enthusiasm — HILARIOUS!

It’s not a mystery why this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm was one of the highest rated in the history of the show. It’s better than ever, and the clip below is so funny I found myself laughing out loud (and not in that ridiculous “LOL” kind of way — a real, legitimate belly laugh). Larry David and Rosie O’Donnell both meet a potential love interest at an event, and they have a discussion about their excitement without knowing they are talking about the same woman. Because the show is heavily improvised, it’s no surprise that O’Donnell and David’s mutual chemistry and comedic prowess magically unite in this non-scripted format. Watch below.

On today’s late night shows, you don’t often see the first guest stick around for the second guest.  Mostly, they’ve got better things to do than to waste their time sitting next to someone less famous for an entire segment.  The problem with this new tradition is that there’s nothing funnier than watching A-listers take a back-seat to Z-listers.  Such was the case on ‘The Tonight Show,’ when The Bachelorette’s Ashley Hebert sat next to the legendary Larry David, who couldn’t resist chiming in on her love life.  The result is comedic bliss.  Watch below.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Returns! — Season 8 Promo Released!

The greatest part of the promo for the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, is when Jeff Garlin calls Larry David a “social assassin.” Some people are moved by shows that involve hospitals or court rooms, but I’m not one of those people. Personally, I’m moved by an angry, Jewish curmudgeon who reminds me that even though I constantly complain, there’s someone out there who is far worse. Watch below!
