‘The Men Tell All’ – Did the Bachelors Have a Brawl?

img_7427.jpg
Is The Bachelorette’s biggest villain actually the most sensible suitor? After all, he was the only guy who called into question the motives of others, and he certainly didn’t lie to JoJo about his feelings. As for the neanderthal rolling up his sleeves in need of a fight, a fighter need not roll up his sleeves. Just throw a punch. Your shirt will be fine. Watch a clip below.

Jordan Rodgers Reveals Relationship With Brother Aaron

Many have long suspected a rift between ‘The Bachelorette’s’ Jordan Rodgers and his brother, NFL star Aaron Rodgers, and some have attributed it to Aaron and Olivia’s friendship with Jordan’s ex-girlfriend, with whom he allegedly cheated on. On last night’s episode Jordan made it clear to JoJo that although he has a great relationship with his entire family, Aaron does not, and it’s just how Aaron chose to “do life.” As an aside, does anyone on this show have an actual job? Watch a clip below.

Andi Dorfman Alleges Josh Murray Was Emotionally Abusive

it's not okay andi dorfmanWe can all remember that awkward, infamous moment on ‘After the Final Rose’ when Nick Viall revealed his sexual liaison with Andi Dorfman in an attempt to understand how she could so quickly cast him aside in favor of her chosen suitor and now ex-fiance, Josh Murray. “If you weren’t in love with me,” Viall said, “then why did you make love with me.” Andi called it a “low blow” and Murray revealed just moments later that he wasn’t phased by the incident. The press then pounced, with obvious questions about a woman could have sex with another man just one day before riding off into the sunset with Murray. And how is it possible Murray didn’t mind? Dorfman now reveals in her new book, “It’s not okay,” that things were not as smooth as she led us to believe. In fact, Murray allegedly called her a “bitch” and a “whore” during arguments, often reminding her of her decision to sleep with another man. He also thought she was “selfish” for wanting to return to work as a an attorney. Murray is predictably unhappy with her book, saying he prays she “finds peace.” And there you have it. Perhaps a dating show is not the proper way to find the perfect partner? Who knew?

The Bachelorette Coming Soon: Tune In to ABC

JoJo Fletcher The Bachelorette

As a writer, I’m often commissioned to write copy for high-powered entities. Though ABC doesn’t make that list, the upcoming season of The Bachelorette with JoJo Fletcher has me feeling generous, so the next time you hear “I wonder if he’s here for the right reasons,” in a confessional, there will officially be more colorful options. Here goes:

  1. Does he have a secret agenda for being here?
  2. Is he a fame whore searching for camera time?
  3. Is he here to promote his personal business?
  4. Does he have an actual job, and what kind of job would let him take this much time off?
  5.  When he says he loves me, does he really mean, ‘I want to win.’
  6. Why would anyone subject themselves to this?
  7. If I get him really drunk, will he tell me the truth about his intentions?
  8. I’m way better looking than that dude. Does JoJo have bad taste?
  9. Will I catch a cold if I kiss ten guys?
  10. If I sleep with this guy, will he tell the world about it after I dump him?

The Bachelorette airs on ABC Monday, May 23.

Andi Dorfman Disses Juan Pablo is New-Season Poster

20140415-153102.jpgThough Andi Dorfman was an ABC favorite after she axed Juan Pablo during her stint on The Bachelor, I still contend she’s far too difficult to be an in-demand Bachelorette. Sure she’s strong, but she’s also temperamental, and much like Deanna Pappas, I simply can’t see her appealing to a mass quantity of men. That being said, this should be an interesting season. As for the poster that poked at Juan Pablo, that copywriter deserves an immediate raise.

Ali Fedotowsky’s Style — What’s The Bachelorette Wearing?

Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky stayed true to her energetic personality with fresh floral jeans during an event for Desiree’s season of ABC’s long-running show. Pick up her David Kahn’s HERE if you’re interested in the feminine style.

Brooks Dumps Desiree — The Bachelorette is Broken-Hearted

For the first time in history, ABC favored reality over fantasy. If you missed the first part of The Bachelorette’s finale, here’s the story in a nutshell. Brooks had doubts, dumped Desiree, and she subsequently declared her love before he departed. Though I’ve heard there’s a happy ending in store for the leading lady, I’m excited that the guy questioned his feelings. What normal human being proposes marriage in such an abnormal format? I predict he’ll realize his love in a Mesnick-like fashion, and those two clowns will live happily ever after. Watch the clip below.

Desiree’s On-Screen Nightmare — Brian Has a Girlfriend?!!!

Maybe I’ve outgrown the rose garden, but the “he’s-not-here-for-the-right-reasons” drama has become a wilted story-line. Perhaps it’s not planted by the producers, but it sure smells like it. Watch below, as Desiree’s courtship with a contestant comes to a screeching halt when his bunny-burning ex-girlfriend confronts him on camera. On second thought, they are probably both planted. It’s either that or they took classes at the same acting school.

Emily Maynard & Jef Holm Confirm Breakup — The World Weeps

20121012-151030.jpg

So much for true love. The schmaltzy sweethearts that fell in love during Emily Maynard’s second try for a reality-television-relationship have officially ended their engagement. Here’s their statements.

20121012-151030.jpg“>Jef Tells People:

“Meeting Emily on The Bachelorette was an incredible experience, we’ve had quite the journey. I’ve never loved someone so much in my whole life, Emily is the best person and mom I have ever met. She opened up her world to me and I fell in love with her, [her daughter] Ricki, her family and the Hendricks.

“She has a great group of people who surround her. What we shared was completely genuine and real and it breaks my heart but we have decided to break up.

“Emily will always have a special place in my heart. I don’t regret a single second I spent with her or Ricki. They both have been a huge part of my life. Who knows what tomorrow will bring but we are moving on to the next chapter of our lives.

“Emily and I are great friends and I hope we can continue to be friends forever. Everyone wants a salacious story to break, but the truth is we are just two people who fell in love and tried our hardest to make it work. I will always love her.”

Emily Tells People:

“I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways,” Maynard says. “It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision.

“As you know, at first I wasn’t sure that I should even be The Bachelorette, but I am a hopeless romantic and I do believe in the show. I have no regrets because I did find love and shared an incredible journey with a really special person – and you know what, we tried our best because the love between us was so real.

“I have nothing but respect and love for Jef and his family, but ultimately we are just at different points in our lives.

“I’ve learned so much and I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve received. I’m excited and hopeful for the next chapter in my life with my daughter, Ricki. I do hope that you will respect our privacy and allow us the time we need to heal.”

For once can someone actually give a tangible explanation as to what the hell happened? Until then, I’ll leave you with a quote from my very wise mother: “Relationships that start out hot-and-heavy never last.” And there you have it. The rose has wilted.

Bachelor Pad Debuts — Ed Admits to Cheating on Jillian

The biggest revelation on this season of Bachelor Pad happened about two minutes into the show when Ed Swiderski admitted to cheating on The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris. Of their relationship, Ed said he’s “not an angel,” and he “definitely was not prepared to be in a serious relationship.” Um . . . WHAT?! Didn’t he get down on one knee at the end of the show? Did this revelation come before or after he popped the question? And if all of the details about what Ed actually did before he proposed are true, he might in fact be sociopathic.
