Here we go again – artists insulting other artists in the industry. Singer India Arie has taken issue with Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ video, calling it “socially irresponsible.” Here’s her tweet: I’m not referring to the abstract nature of the video … I’m talking about the IMAGERY – the unspoken back story, the language the message.” She caused a bit of a twitter frenzy after Gaga fans attacked her, for which she reminded everyone that she is entitled to her opinion. I agree that she is entitled to her opinion, I just have no idea what her opinion is. Does she think that Gaga is irresponsibly telling women to poison their boyfriends? It’s unclear.
