I’ve spoken out against plastic surgery in Hollywood numerous times, but Jill Zarin’s recent admission of a “liquid face-lift” has infuriated me to the point of commenting again. First, I won’t directly insult her new face, but I am fundamentally against removing wrinkles, which in turn removes all character in one’s face. Basically, it looks bizarre. Perhaps I’ll feel differently in a decade, but having a completely pulled back look with no forehead-wrinkles reminds me of a zombie. It’s not hot, and it needs to stop. It’s also disturbing how Wendy Williams tells Zarin that she’s taken “eight years off her face,” and the audience claps. What exactly are they clapping for? Are they encouraging women everywhere to look like porcelain dolls?
Porcelain is being generous. Plastic is the reality. That kind of plastic surgery seeks to sexually objectify… and blow-up dolls are made of plastic.
It’s amazing, looking at the time and effort you put into your blog and detailed information you provide. I’ll bookmark your blog and visit it weekly for your new posts.
Plastic surgery Beverly Hills
For some reason I wonder if I’m being punked with that comment. Since
I’m a whore for compliments though, I’ll take it at face value. Thank
you.
hmmm…
What Jill had done isn’t really plastic surgery in my opinion. There was no knife involved. Hate Jill Zarin all you want but i think she looks amazing! I’m all for procedures that help you look better and feel better about yourself.
She’s a TV personality, anyway. Perhaps everyone in Hollywood does get some enhancements done. As for any person, we still have the right to choose for ourselves. It’s alright to find ways to minimize (or even remove signs of) aging, just as long as we don’t over do it. Like the saying goes, everything in excess is dangerous. And always consult a doctor first.
Yeah yeah — everyone that gets work done looks weird. We are meant to age.
I like the way she looks! I think it’s smooths out her face without look too face lift-y. But I am a huge fan of her and can’t wait to see more of her new face on the Jill Zarin spin-off show that I just read about. That’s when I feel like you can really tell with plastic surgery, after it has been a while.
People are supposed to have wrinkles!!!!
