JLO Jokes About Gigli: WATCH NOW

I like a woman who can laugh at herself, especially when she’s been dragged through the mud in the press and come out shining like a diamond. Watch JLO talk to Seth Meyers about that infamous Gigli flop and her new manny.

Chris Harrison Talks Andi Dorfman/Josh Murray Breakup: “I Didn’t Know”

If you’ve tried to use your sleuth-like skills in a time-machine format by re-watching the last interview with Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, then you’ve probably considered that Chris Harrison was in on the snow job. While I can’t imagine why any couple on the brink of a breakup would fly across coasts to perpetuate a lie, those Bachelor kids are crazy. Harrison told Seacrest he had no idea they were on the rocks when he interviewed them at The Bachelor premiere. Listen below.

Diem Brown’s Last Words on MTV — Watch Now

There’s something to be learned from Diem Brown’s life, and we can honor it with a lesson. Life is short, and it can be taken from us within moments. It’s important to live hard, love hard, and take nothing for granted. Sure that’s easier said than done, but moving reminders from people who have suffered from a short existence can shine a light long enough for us to make a change. Watch a video of Diem’s last words on MTV’s Battle of the Exes 2.

Jon Stewart v. Mike Huckabee: Hypocrisy, Gravy, and Beyonce

Somewhere in the world of Mike Huckabee, there’s a cartoonish culture clash between Bubbas and Bubbles, with the latter living far from reality. According to Huckabee, “Bubbleville” has pesky Harvard graduates that can’t change your tire, adore Beyonce, and allow for broadcasts that perpetuate the “culture of crude.” Stewart squashed his bloated preach parade by showing a clip of Huckabee playing bass with Ted Nugent on television, with lyrics about “making her pussy purr.” Stewart then rightfully pointed out that he endorses Nugent simply because of his stance on firearms. As an irrelevant aside, Huckabee has gained a considerable amount of weight, and perhaps he should focus on combating obesity instead of Beyonce, given that it’s a far greater problem in this country.

Awards Season Fashion Predictions from ‘The Good Fox’

My very talented friend at The Good Fox shared some top picks for our shiniest stars, and it’s worth a read. Check out her website for more inspiring style.

AWARDSFASHION

The 2015 award season has officially kicked off, which means fashion’s finest are revving up for some riveting red carpet styles. With so many designers to choose from, it’s time for some predictions. See below for the top 6 picks for our favorite stars.

1. Balmain Spring/Summer 2015
This look from the ready-to-wear collection is a complete show stopper. In my honest opinion, this look could go down in history. It has the potential to be worn rather conservatively or taken to the other end of the spectrum – let’s say, risqué chic. I’d like to see this on Scarlett Johansson or Jennifer Lawrence. Those ladies would definitely do this number justice.

2. Valentino Spring/Summer 2015
One of my personal favorites from this list is this gorgeous Valentino mint gown. It embodies elegance and playfulness using tulle and sequins, the right way. This fresh look would be great on Lupita Nyong or Emma Watson who both rocked a bold coral color last year at the Golden Globes. Chi City Fashion did an awesome 2014 fashion round-up not too long ago, to refresh your memory.

3. Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2015
This 2015 Balenciaga lavender dress, shown on model Anna Ewers, is perfect for Jennifer Anniston. She typically goes for clean cut styles that fit her body like a glove. I’d like to see her take a bit of a risk this year and try a style with a more eclectic edge.

4. Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2015
This pop of color is a must this year and someone has to pull it off. That someone should be Kerry Washington in my book. Scheduled to present tonight at the Golden Globes, I think it’s the perfect moment for Kerry to turn some heads in this elegant, saturated shade from Carolina Herrera.

5. Unique Spring/Summer 2015
As seen on Cara Delevingne on the runway, this look is for the bold. It’s a sheer gold number that would fit perfectly for a star such as Keira Knightly, who typically goes for form fitting silhouettes in gold and sparkly tones.

6. Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2015
Known for typically rocking a bold color on the red carpet, whether dark or light, this look would be perfect for Emma Stone. She can work a solid shade like none other. I would love to see her in this dark, flowy gown from Jason Wu. The color would be heaven against her pale skin.

Jason Derulo Responds to Jordin Sparks BMW Claim: Listen Now

In a move that so clearly explains the demise of their relationship, Jason Derulo posted a picture on Instagram showing that he did in fact purchase a BMW for his ex-girlfriend, Jordin Sparks, contrary to her proclamation that he leased the vehicle. While I too would want to clear my name of her embarrassing reveal, Derulo himself isn’t so innocent, having previously aired intimate details about their relationship in his own radio interview. So what have we learned? These two kids are clowns with zero business being in a serious relationship. Keep your personal life private, and grow some class.

Maroon 5 Crashes Weddings Now — REAL OR FAKE?

Let me preface this post by announcing prejudice, as I make it a habit to pounce on Adam Levine wherever possible, which I’ll do again with his alleged wedding-crash video. First, I smell a rat. How do you crash a wedding with an entire camera crew and setup pre-performance? Did they notice the Maroon 5 douche-crew camping out at their digs? And if they didn’t consent, who signed the contract? On top of that, it takes a lot of hubris to assume your presence is welcomed at a wedding, fame or not. I like the song, though. It’s catchy. Get Lit on Queen Latifah — WATCH NOW

“The greatest lessons are the ones you don’t remember learning,” says Belissa Escobedo, Rhiannon McGavin, and Zariya Allen, members of the Get Lit organization who performed “Somewhere in America” on The Queen Latifah show. I must admit skepticism given my contempt for spoken word and emotional poetry, but this moved me. The rhythm, message, and diversity of delivery beautifully melded for an unforgettable impact. Get Lit is a leading non-profit with an emphasis on literary performance, education, and teen poetry programs in Southern California. Watch below.
