At the premiere of his new film, ‘Green Zone’ Paul Greengrass said that he is unlikely to direct a new Bourne film, as he has nothing else to contribute to the franchise. Greengrass directed both ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ and ‘Green Zone,’ and Damon has said that he would not do another Bourne film without him. This would not be the first time that rumors of a sequel have been squashed. After ‘The Bourne Supremacy,’ Damon said that ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ would not work, because the original novel was too dated.
