I remember thinking about that while watching Black Swan… “Natalie Portman became a world-class ballerina in a year? Why hasn’t anyone trained a monkey to do ballet yet? I’d pay to see that. A whole company of monkeys would really reignite male interest in ballet.”
When things are strange, I have trouble focusing past them.
Now I’m thinking… “This ballerina is really saying that Natalie won an Oscar under false pretenses. I wonder if her Oscar has had time to gather dust yet. It’s sad when things are taken away and they leave a clean spot where they used to live on the shelf. Even though Natalie is pregnant, she should take this opportunity to do some dusting.”
