Kendall Jenner is Not a Ballerina — And That’s Okay

I get it. Making light of someone’s profession is objectionable, but the content of Kendall Jenner’s Vogue Spain ballerina shoot (the video below) sheds light on the choice. We all love ballet, and many of us donned our tutus as a child in hopes of one day making it. If we’re not thinking of Misty Copeland, then we’re thinking of our younger, carefree self. I think we all need to give it a rest. She’s not “representing” ballet, she’s simply inspired by it. Also, I’m sure the concept was not even her decision.
