Smoke Season Releases Cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer”

Halloween is around the corner, so it’s the perfect time for indie-electronic duo, Smoke Season, to introduce a new version of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” Directed and edited by Scott Fleishman, the cinematic take has a dose of androgyny I appreciate. In the slow-paced, moderately creepy video, Smoke Season artists Gabrielle Wortman and Jason Rosen are joined by Megan Duffy (who was scalped by Elijah Wood in the Cannes Film Festival lauded film, Maniac), Max Landis (notorious screenwriter of Chronicle, American Ultra, Bright, and new BBC show, Dirk Gently), Charley Feldman (Changeling), Tybee Diskin (Fallout: Nuka Break), Shane Carpenter (The League of S.T.E.A.M.), Liza Tsark and Chelsea Elizabeth. The track is available for streaming on Spotify and Soundcloud and for viewing on YouTube. Add this to your Halloween playlist while carving pumpkins under eerie candlelight. You’ll enjoy it.
