“I think if people are [upset] because I spent money on a photo shoot, then they should be upset about every single photo shoot that takes place ever. A $100,000 photo shoot, actually — Paris Hilton spent $200,000 on her album cover. The catering budget for the movie “John Carter” was $5 million. It takes money to make art. People spend money to make their work. If I was operating a McDonald’s, would people be upset because I bought inventory? How many people buy sports cars? How many people buy watches? What if I bought a $100,000 car and I crashed it? I’m not taking anything away from anybody else.” Tyler Shields’ surprisingly astute explanation about why it’s okay that he destroyed a $100,000 Birkin bag for a photo shoot.

Quote of the Day — Adam Levine Brags About Getting Laid
![]() |
“I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls. . . . A little bit of a bimbo. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much. . . . I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that’s fine. . . . But I wanted to create a little balance. When ‘The Voice’ came around, I thought, ‘People now know that I have a brain.'” The always douchey Adam Levine on the deep reason behind his man-whore syndrome.

Dominic Monaghan on Lost Co-Star Matthew Fox: “He Beats Women”
This story is so shocking I had to read it multiple times to verify it’s truth. When asked by a fan during a Q&A session to implore Matthew Fox to join twitter, his Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan simply said, “He beats women. No thanks. When a fan challenged his accusation, Monaghan continued, saying, “He beats women. Not isolated incidents. Often.” Monaghan clearly knows the rules of defamation, because when another fan explained the risk, he rightly asserted that you can’t be sued for defamation if you speak the truth. Ouch. If the story is true, then Dominic Monaghan is a bad-ass. And just for the sake of some good memories between these two actors, watch the clip below.
Kathie Lee Asks Martin Short About His Wife — She Died 2 Years Ago
I don’t know how something like this happens. I obsessively research everyone I interview for The Dishmaster, so it’s astounding to see someone with a much larger staff who doesn’t know that Martin Short’s wife died years before the interview. I have to hand it to Martin Short though — he clearly didn’t want to embarrass Kathie Lee by point out the mistake. But she sure did mess up. Watch below.
Tyler Shields & Francesca Eastwood Chainsaw a Birkin Bag — Watch a Clip
I can’t decide if Tyler Shields’ idea to chainsaw a $100,000 Birkin bag is brilliant or horrific. I understand the artistic impetus, but this isn’t the economic time to appreciate it. That being said, the most disturbing part in the clip below might really be that Tyler Shields is 30 and his girlfriend, Francesca Eastwood — is 18. I suppose her father, Clint Eastwood, can’t say much considering there’s a 35 year age difference between him and his wife.
Quote of the Day — Jamie Lynn Spears Talks Teen Pregnancy
“I was 16. I’d had one boyfriend. It doesn’t make it perfect or all right. But I was judged for something that probably most everyone does. I was young. I was in love. I was like every other teenager, except I had this last name.” Jamie Lynn Spears, on her very publicized teen pregnancy, and whether it was fair to judge her or claim she was “glamorizing teen pregnancy.”

Howard Stern Dances on AGT with Savage Men — Hilarious
How does Howard Stern continually top himself? The man is the world’s best improviser. After a group called Savage Men performed a wanna-be strip dance, Stern said, “I always think that women don’t like a physique like that. They like what I have.” After a challenge from the men, Stern got on stage to join them for a dance. Watch below.
