Looks like Karina Smirnoff is joining Lacey Schwimmer and Johnathan Roberts as a casualty of Dancing With the Stars. She will not be returning for the upcoming season. Does this have anything to do with her breakup with Maksim Chmerkovskiy? Maybe the show felt that having both of them on would be too awkward. Maybe she was the one that wanted off the show. I just think they are cutting professional dancers this season that they felt didn’t carry a big enough personality. Who knows.

Lacey Schwimmer and Jonathan Roberts Won’t be Returning to Dancing With the Stars
Lacey and Jonathan are out. Why? My guess is that the show cut them. How do I know this? All the dancers get word whether they are wanted for the next season around the same time, and Lacey and Jonathan’s departure was announced the same time that the other dancers announced their return. If they left on their own accord, I think it would have been announced much earlier. The good news is that my favorites, Cheryl Burke and Derek Hough, will be returning.
Real World Alum Sean Duffy is Running for Congress
About ten years ago, when The Real World was still watchable, The Real World Boston’s Sean Duffy met The Real World San Francisco’s Rachel Campos, and they went on to have lots and lots of babies together. Sean Duffy became a District Attorney, and Rachel Campos made some appearances on The View. Now, Sean Duffy is running for Congress. Do I want him to get elected? Nancy O’Dell may be the new co-host of Dancing With the Stars
Nancy O’Dell is rumored to be replacing Samantha Harris as the next co-host of Dancing With the Stars. Other rumored new co-hosts include Vanessa Minnillo, Melissa Rycroft, and Brooke Burke, but I think O’Dell is the front-runner. I still cannot believe that Samantha Harris would leave Dancing With the Stars to co-host The Insider. Aren’t you supposed to leave The Insider to co-host Dancing With the Stars? Interesting career move.
