Chris Harrison Reacts to Juan Pablo — “He’s His Own Worst Enemy”

“No, I didn’t feel bad for him at all. He’s a big boy and has made his own bed. Juan Pablo can be his own worst enemy. Whether this was a good fit or not or the best decision, I feel like he’s fought it. For me, he gets really defensive and short and that’s when he says, “OK” or “perfect,” whereas normally you’d have a response. He either gets defensive or goes into dad mode and he talks to them like they’re his daughter, and says things like, “Don’t be sad,” and touches their hair.” Chris Harrison, on whether he felt bad for Juan Pablo during the Women Tell All.”

Did Liza Laugh at Ellen’s Joke? The Queen Diva Declares her Reaction!

It’s always tough to take a funny dig at another’s expense, and it’s universally agreed that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have mastered the craft. There’s speculation that Ellen DeGeneres didn’t get the same reaction when she presumably ruffled Liza Minelli’s feathers with her drag queen barb at the Oscars, but despite TMZ’s confusing title, it’s clear Liza laughed about it (or chuckled?). Watch her recount the jab below.

Jason & Molly Mesnick’s Podcast — Shocking Secrets from ‘The Bachelor’ Revealed

A little birdie tipped me off to this Jason and Molly Mesnick podcast, where The Bachelor alums dropped huge behind-the-scenes bombshells about the ABC show. You’ll have to listen below to believe it, but the shocking secrets include the incredible amount of pressure placed on Mesnick to propose at the end of the show, and the severe editing to make its stars look better. That editing entailed the infamous Graham Bunn departure on Deanna Pappas’ season, which was edited to appear as if Graham got dumped by Deanna, when in fact it was the opposite. Mesnick also disclosed that he knew Deanna was wrong for him on the overnight date, but the pressure from Mike Fleiss “with a checkbook in hand” was enough for him to ditch his doubts and bend his knee. Listen below.

Ellen DeGeneres Breaks Twitter — Sets ‘Retweet’ Record

Ellen_DeGeneres_Oscars_Retweet

In an effort to integrate new media into her hosting duties, Ellen DeGeneres came up with a brilliant idea to tweet a selfie with her fellow A-Listers in hopes of breaking President Obama’s retweet record. She not only succeeded, she broke the social networking site for about twenty minutes straight. Silly me, I reset my phone thinking I was the problem. As it turns out, Ellen was.

Kim Kardashian Dates Richard Lugner — High Priced Escort

It’s no secret that a large part of celebrity cash comes from special appearances, especially because a star’s light will illuminate anything beside it, making for great promotion. But that cash comes at a cost, and the cost might be brand damage.

Kim Kardashian’s most recent special appearance involves billionaire Richard Lugner, who paid Kardashian to be his date for the Vienna Opera Ball. As part of her appearance, she attended a press conference in front of his Austrian city mall. She’s rumored to receive $500,000 for the appearance.

This brings me to my point. If you’re getting paid to be a man’s date for the evening, aren’t you just a high-priced escort? Sure we can obviously assume she won’t exchange sexual favors for the payout, but it’s still a date for cash. To quote Tim Gunn, “sometimes you spend so long in the crazy house, you stop smelling the sh*t.”
