Eddy Grant Accuses Gorillaz of Ripping off His Song

Eddy Grant has accused Gorillaz of ripping off his song, ‘Time Warp,’ for their new song, ‘Stylo.’  Because Grant and Gorillaz share the same label, Grant is pissed at EMI for not alerting him to the rip-off.  I have listened to both songs and definitely see similarities, though I don’t know that it’s blazingly obvious.  Listen below and see what you think.

James Cameron is a Big Hypocrite

In a recent interview, Cameron said that he is opposed to movies trying to convert their films into 3-D in post production just to garner ‘Avatar’ style money.  Cameron said that the film should be shot in 3-D, rather than spending 8 weeks converting the film into 3-D after it’s already been shot.  Here comes the hypocrisy: Cameron is converting Titanic into 3-D for the 100th anniversary of the ship sinking.  I think he’s just pissed that this 3-D craze might cheapen a sequel to Avatar. 

Chris Harrison Likes to Grab Men’s Butts

Okay, I confess that I took some liberties with this title, but I could’nt resist. In a recent interview, Chris Harrison described how nervous the bachelors get when they first meet the women. What does he do to help them? He slaps them on the butt of course. Harrison said, “Every time those limos pull up they are scared to death, they’re nervous as hell. I slap them in the butt and I say, good luck, go get ’em. Don’t let me down.”  Wow, what a nice guy.

Spencer Pratt Leaving ‘The Hills’ for Anger Management?

Radar Online is reporting that Spencer Pratt has been forced to leave ‘The Hills’ for six weeks to undergo anger management.  He allegedly screamed at a producer for the show in reaction to an undisclosed request.  The producer filed a complaint, and a six week hiatus was decided on as a settlement.  I guess all that cyber security hoopla was a crafty diversion.  We’ll miss you Spencer Pratt.   

George Clooney’s Girlfriend Will Appear on TNT’s ‘Leverage’

If you want a career in America, just date a celebrity.  Clooney’s girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis (the one that could not be bothered to smile at the Oscars), scored a role as an Italian woman in Season 3 of ‘Leverage.’  To be fair, Canalis always aspired to be in entertainment, and she is a an actress in Italy.  Maybe I am just jealous that she gets to date Clooney.  See a picture of her not smiling below.

Great News! ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ is Coming Back!

Though HBO has not officially confirmed Season 8, Larry David recently said that the show will most likely return.  That’s good enough for me to get excited!  Below you will see Larry David looking uncomfortable back stage as his costar congratulates him for winning Comedy of the Year at the American Film Institute Awards.  Something tells me his “character” on the show is a mighty overlap with reality.   

Jennifer Aniston Accused of Having a Fake Relationship With Gerard Butler to Promote ‘The Bounty Hunter’

Jennifer Aniston usually gets angry over reports that she is dating her costar.  Now, she is angry over reports that she is faking a romance with her costar to promote a movie.  For some reason no one actually believes that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are dating.  Instead, they think she is flirting with him in public to create speculation of a relationship.  It’s all so confusing.  Aniston responded to the criticism by saying, “You know there’s all this stuff about calculating… that me and Gerry are in this fake relationship for the press of our movie or the selling of it. It’s just so insulting at the same time, but again it’s the story… I’m getting to a better place in understanding that they’re just making money.”  See the pictures of them below at the premiere of ‘The Bounty Hunter.’  It certainly begs the question – is she this affectionate with all her friends?  I don’t see her hanging all over Courtney Cox in photos.  I do think she brought this a bit on herself.
