Britney Spears on GMA — Choreography Still Not Good Enough

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. No one is a bigger Britney Spears fan than The Dishmaster. When she launched her comeback and turned her life around, I was extremely happy for her, and I cut her a lot of performance-slack. It’s been a few years since that comeback, and I’ve officially raised my standards. Her performance on Good Morning America was sub-par at best. You cannot put on a sparkly leotard and walk around the stage while your dancers do all the heavy lifting. Britney Spears launched her career as a dancer/performer, so it would only make sense to have challenging choreography. So what’s the problem, and will we ever see Britney execute the same power moves as she did in her early days? I can’t help but wonder if the true genius behind Britney Spears’ career-best days was Wade Robson, and his departure has changed Britney’s caliber forever. Unless she starts to do more than wave her arms around and walk from one side of the stage to the other, I’m unsatisfied. Watch the video below to see her GMA performance, and watch the second video to see how she used to dance.

Dear Chris Brown — Return to GMA and Discuss the Rihanna Incident

I often fancy myself a Hollywood publicist. Image cleanup seems so simple, yet celebrities have the hardest time with it. That’s either because their publicists aren’t doing their job, or because the celebrities won’t listen to them. Chris Brown recently appeared on Good Morning America to promote his new album, and the interview apparently ended with Chris Brown ripping his shirt off and breaking a window.  Needless to say, he wasn’t pleased with Robin Roberts’ questions about Rihanna. If I were advising Chris Brown, I’d tell him to immediately return to Good Morning America and openly discuss the incident. He needs to say why he got so upset and explain precisely what happened. I’ve read that those questions were approved prior to the interview, so it’s unclear why he was so surprised and angry when they were asked. Unless he owns his flaws and continues to discuss the Rihanna incident with a calm head, the public will never forgive him. I understand he’s difficult to root for because he physically abused his girlfriend, but I’m not a fan of shunning people for life because of their mistakes. If he’s legitimately changed then I’m willing to move on. It’s difficult to believe he’s changed though, especially since he can’t even get through an interview with losing his temper.

Good Morning America Interviews Randy Quaid — Shame on You ABC

Good Morning America interviewed Randy Quaid about his paranoia, and I find it disgusting.  It’s obvious the interviewer thinks they are mentally ill, and yet has no problem preying on that mental illness by exposing it to America.  Is this the new way to get ratings?  Find someone with mental problems and nationally humiliate them?  Quaid has been arrested multiple times and he currently lives in Canada because he “fears for his life” in the United States.  I’ve posted the interview below, despite the obvious hypocrisy of doing so.  It was a tough call.
