Red Carpet Fashion: Perez Hilton’s Birthday Party

Perez Hilton, the master of all celebrity bloggers, had a birthday bash in Los Angeles Saturday night.  Forgive the title of this post, as Perez, true to his website’s color, rolled out a pink carpet instead of a red one.  See pictures from the party below.

Red Carpet Fashion: ‘The Last Song’ Movie Premiere

Here are some pictures from yesterday’s film premiere of the ‘The Last Song.’  The film stars Miley Cyrus and her current boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.  It opens Wednesday, March 31.  I am not sure what the film is about, but since it is based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, I am guessing someone dies.

Red Carpet Fashion: The Geffen Gala

The Geffen Gala recognizes leadership in theater, and raises funds for the Geffen playhouse.  The playhouse was originally UCLA’s ‘Westwood Playhouse,’ but its name changed after David Geffen, the billionaire film producer and record executive, donated $5 million dollars.  See Pics from the event below.

Why Did George Clooney Look so Pissed at the Oscars?

I got a question today asking me what was wrong with George Clooney at the Oscars. I agree that he was noticeably pissed, which is interesting because he seemed to be in such a good mood before walking the red carpet.  Apparently, my friend and I are not the only people that noticed.  His people have released a statement, saying that he was under the weather, and the show can get a little long and boring.  Personally, I don’t buy it.  Fast forward to 5:41 to see Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin’s exchange with Clooney.  

George Clooney Might be the Nicest Guy in Hollywood

George Clooney arrived at the Oscars, and he stayed outside for quite some time to greet the fans before walking the red carpet.  I love him.  Clooney’s reputation as a Hollywood nice guy began on ER when he hit it big as a movie star before his contract was up.  Instead of kicking and screaming to get out of his contract like everyone other actor in that position would have, he sat pretty and finished his contract.  To top it off, he returned to ER for the final episode.  Did I mention that I love him?

Red Carpet Fashion: The ‘Hollywood Reporter’ Oscar Nominee Reception

The Oscar countdown has begun and so have the red carpet looks.  The ‘Hollywood Reporter,’ one of Hollywood’s leading trade publications, hosts a reception honoring Oscar nominees.  This year’s reception was co-hosted by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.  Confused about why the Mayor of Los Angeles would take the time out of his busy deficit plagued schedule to host such an event?  So were a lot of people.  Regardless, the reception provides a very good excuse for a bunch of celebrities to show up looking pretty.  See some of them below.

Rihanna’s Performance at the Echo Awards

The internet is abuzz over Rihanna’s interesting performance at the Echo Awards.  The Echo Awards is an annual music awards ceremony in Berlin, and it honors artists from all over the world.  The winners are determined by the previous year’s sales.  See her performance (and red carpet outfit) below.  I should warn you though – a robot is involved.
