‘Team Sandra’ Shirts Sell-Out at Kitson

I guess this is what happens when you cheat on a Hollywood sweetheart.  The whole country will turn against you eventually. Kitson, a clothing store on Robertson that has become well known because of celebrity shoppers, has started selling ‘Team Sandra’ T-shirts, and they are predictably lucrative for the store.  Kitson is also well-known for their previous Team Aniston and Team Angelina T-shirts in the midst of the Brangelina scandal.  Though I didn’t like the Aniston v. Angelina nonsense, this ‘Team Sandra,’ shirt is an idea I can get behind.

Puck – Former Real World Cast Member Hospitalized

Real World San Francisco cast member David Rainey, also referred to as ‘Puck,’ is hospitalized after a serious car accident.  Puck was on one of Mtv’s most memorable seasons, with the late Pedro Zamora.  He is actually one of my favorite cast members of all time.  I found him extremely compelling, at a time when Mtv actually used compelling people for ‘The Real World.’  Now it’s just a drunken, idiotic mess.  Rainey was with his son at the time, and both are expected to recover.  The accident was caused when he swerved to avoid a deer.

Update: TMZ reports that he was driving drunk and without a license.  How horrible.

Katherine Heigl has Officially Left Grey’s Anatomy

Entertainment Weekly confirmed what has long been speculated: Katherine Heigl and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ are over.  I must say I am glad to hear it.  I was pretty sick of all the negative press surrounding the show and her contract, and perhaps now things will move in a more positive direction.  This often happens with actors that have film careers take off while they are on a successful television show.  They want out of their contracts, and the show doesn’t want to release them, because the show benefits from the actor’s film success.  Summation?  It becomes a big huge mess.  So long Izzie.  It was fun while it lasted.

Celebrity Apprentice Contestant asks Terminally Ill Child What he Wants to be When he Grows Up

Seriously?  At one point in last Sunday’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation arrived, and one child was asked what he wants to be when he grows up, to which he replied, “I haven’t thought about that yet.”  The camera cut away as the question was asked, but I am almost positive that Selita Ebanks is the “celebrity” culprit that asked that horrendous question.  Holly Robinson Peete then discussed this moment, stating that it was “really rough” to hear his answer.  Is this a sick joke?  Yeah, I am pretty sure it wasn’t as rough for you as it was for this poor kid that had to answer it!!

Red Carpet Fashion: The Geffen Gala

The Geffen Gala recognizes leadership in theater, and raises funds for the Geffen playhouse.  The playhouse was originally UCLA’s ‘Westwood Playhouse,’ but its name changed after David Geffen, the billionaire film producer and record executive, donated $5 million dollars.  See Pics from the event below.

‘American Idol’ is Horrible this Season – And it’s all the Judges’ Fault

The top twelve contestants this season are painful to watch, and since the judges picked the top 32 to choose from, I place my blame exclusively on them.  It’s not as if America voted the wrong person off.  They’re all wrong!  Thank goodness Simon Cowell is jumping ship just in time to keep his brand intact.  Also, Kara DioGuardi makes me want to throw something at my television.  Did she actually tell a contestant that he hasn’t reached a level yet where he can high-five people?  Please Kara, tell me at what point, using all of your expertise, that it would be appropriate to high-five.  In fact, I am giving you one big virtual high-five right now.  High-five yourself out of the judging panel, and bring Paula back!  I’m posting a pic of 1950’s teen idol Bobby Rydell because I could not think of anything to post related to ‘American Idol’ that wouldn’t irritate me.

Ke$ha Apologizes to Britney Spears and Justin Bieber

First she attacked Britney Spears, and then she insults Justin Bieber.  She recently said that Justin Bieber was a “tiny little baby” that she wanted to “push around in a carriage.”  I would believe that it was just a stupid, non-malicious statement had she not previously insulted Britney Spears . . . twice.  Hence, I’m still convinced she’s an asshole.  Well, she got an appropriate backlash from Britney and Bieber fans – which, when combined, pretty much means all of America.  So she “apologized.”  See her Britney apology below.

Steve Lillywhite Continues his Pathetic Plea to Replace Simon Cowell on ‘American Idol’

Does anyone ever get a job this way?  And by “this way,” I mean posting pathetic videos over the internet that encompass old school groveling.  Steve Lillywhite, the music producer behind the first three releases from ‘Dave Matthews Band’ (back when Dave Matthews was actually listenable), wants to be the next ‘American Idol’ judge.  Sure he might know his stuff, but these online videos might actually work against him, as he is absolutely painful to watch.  When asked about Steve Lillywhite as a possible replacement, Simon Cowell gave a far less wordy critique than mine, by basically calling him ugly.  Watch the cringe-worthy video below.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Has its Largest Audience Ever

It looks like ABC made some changes for the better.  Last night’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ drew the largest premiere audience since the show began.  Something tells me Samantha Harris won’t be coming back anytime soon.  I think Brooke Burke as the new host probably helped with the numbers.  Also, who can beat watching Pamela Anderson dance around like a crazy person?   Watch below.
