Lake Bell Covers Esquire — Debuts Beautiful Boobies

The very beautiful Lake Bell covered the April 22 issue of Esquire Magazine, and it’s certainly worth the look. Read some choice quotes below, and take a little time to enjoy the view.

On wanting to be an actress as a child:

“I was tirelessly motivated, because I felt very clear about what I wanted to do. I didn’t fully understand what it meant to be an actor, but I knew it was someone who gets to play different characters, gets to pretend to be in different worlds, and gets to make people laugh or feel. I’m sure there was some sort of validation, where the attention is on me and I can make people laugh; that’s normal kid stuff. But then it started to gestate into something more complicated and exciting and very fulfilling.”

On directing:

“If I write something and I’m going to put in all that love and energy, I want to direct it. As an actor, you have access to the trenches—to a myriad of different sets. You can sponge and learn, or you can go back to your trailer and look at YouTube videos of cute kids falling asleep. There’s a time for those videos, but I had a hunger to learn.”

On marriage:

“Marriage is traditionally old-school in many respects. It is highly antiquated, and, that being said, beautiful.”

On her new movie Million Dollar Arm:

“It’s sweet. And it’s a true story. You’re going to cry.”

Rosie O’Donnell Calls Lindsay Lohan a “Tragedy”

If you have watched even five minutes of ‘Lindsay’ on OWN, you’ll immediately recognize that Lindsay Lohan has yet to fully surrender to her sobriety. And while her bad behavior is certainly tied to her addiction, it’s difficult to empathize with someone who disrespects her staff and the many executives who have exhausted her second chances. As for Oprah, I’m sure her intentions are pure, but one must question the morality behind documenting an addict’s demise for the purpose of entertainment. Apparently, Rosie O’Donnell agrees.

Quote of the Day — Jeff Bauman Talks About his Iconic Boston Bombing Photo

“Besides, the photograph isn’t what most people think it is. It’s not a picture of the bombing. It doesn’t show the explosion, and it doesn’t show me being injured. It is a photograph of the rescue.” Jeff Bauman tells the Guardian, in his first-hand account of that tragic day. http://

Watch ‘GONE GIRL’ Trailer Starring Ben Affleck

David Fincher returns with an adaptation of ‘Gone Girl,’ a story about a missing wife, a searching husband, and all the subsequent suspicion surrounding her death. And in case you didn’t know, Ben Affleck stars as the spouse. Watch the trailer below, and attempt to ignore the horrible song choice. Though I love Charles Aznavour’s ‘She,’ it’s a Notting Hill staple and it’s far too cheesy a choice. They should have selected a song sans lyrics.

Andi Dorfman Disses Juan Pablo is New-Season Poster

20140415-153102.jpgThough Andi Dorfman was an ABC favorite after she axed Juan Pablo during her stint on The Bachelor, I still contend she’s far too difficult to be an in-demand Bachelorette. Sure she’s strong, but she’s also temperamental, and much like Deanna Pappas, I simply can’t see her appealing to a mass quantity of men. That being said, this should be an interesting season. As for the poster that poked at Juan Pablo, that copywriter deserves an immediate raise.

Tony Dovolani and Nene Leakes Fight Over the Foxtrot — WATCH NOW

Last night’s Dancing With the Stars gave viewers a behind-the-scenes peak at all the backstage drama surrounding the show. For starters, Nene Leakes danced with Derek Hough last week, much to the dismay of Tony Dovolani, who didn’t want to hear the inside scoop about Derek’s superior choreography. If you know the show, then you know Derek Hough is the true star, with choreography and moves that far exceed his fellow dancers. And while Tony is certainly talented, it’s just not a fair fight. Watch the drama below.

Lindsay Lohan’s Life Coach Quits — OWN

We are all intrinsic voyeurs, and while there’s a large part of us that wants to see people fail, there’s also a large part of us that wants to see people succeed. My guess is that Oprah has the latter affliction. She employed Lindsay Lohan for a “docu-series” shortly after Lindsay exited rehab, and though her intentions were pure, this was a poor decision all around. First, Lindsay should have lead a low-key life as she transitioned back to normalcy and sobriety. Second, the show has only served to prove all of Lindsay’s character failings. She yells at her staff, she cancels shoots at the expense of production, she lies on camera, and lastly, she throws temperamental fits like a spoiled child with stunted development. Her entire entourage enables her antics, and I’m guessing she’ll spend herself into bankruptcy pretty soon. Make no mistake. I know she’s an addict, and many addicts will relapse for years before finally staying sober. But given that Lindsay Lohan is spending the weekend at Coachella, my uneducated guess is that she’s not on the road to a successful turnaround. Sorry, Oprah. Watch a clip below.

Lykke Li Releases ‘No Rest for The Wicked’ — EPIC Ballad

Though Lykke Li is certainly recognizable, I still contend she’s underrated. Much like Florence and The Machine, her style is epic, dynamic, and dramatic. Listen below to ‘No Rest for the Wicked.’

Tori Spelling Talks Marriage: “I Can Never Give Him Enough Sex”

The sadness surrounding Tori Spelling’s marriage is more about exposing its flaws for the world to see instead of a more private repair. In her upcoming Lifetime docu-series, True Tori, both parties seem extremely exhausted and weathered as they publicly recount their marital issues, with Tori proclaiming, “I can never give him enough sex.” Watch the clip below, and take a moment to reflect on the insanity of publicly exposing such deep, private issues.
