SHOCKER! Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Host ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

NBC accomplished the impossible today, landing the great Arnold Schwarzenegger as the next host of Celebrity Apprentice. The Terminator star doesn’t need the money, and he’s certainly not in need of reality television to sustain his brand. But why not? He’s got some seriously hilarious sound bites and his success speaks for itself. Although he’s not exactly an entrepreneur, he’s a clear example of how unrealistic dreams are possible, having moved with ease from body builder to movie star to Governor. This is something I’ll be watching, and even Trump approves.

I Am Cait Finale: Kris Confronts Caitlyn

If the goal of ‘I Am Cait,” was to teach me something, then they’ve succeeded. For starters, I’ve learned that both Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner are astounding, insensitive assholes. I’ve learned this over time, but most notably when Kris Jenner visited her ex-husband for a heart-to-heart and attempted to explain her hurt feelings. She said she objected to Jenner’s Vanity Fair article in which she claimed to have been mistreated, with Kris reminding Jenner that she took care of her for decades. Jenner was unkind in response, insisting that she’s playing the martyr, in addition to acting as if it’s completely shocking that anyone in the family would have difficulty with her transition. The woman was married to a MAN for decades, who later decided to divorce her and live an authentic life as a woman. Though that’s wonderful and brave and certainly worth celebrating, it also warrants a little sensitivity to the woman he left behind. But sensitivity is foreign to Caitlyn Jenner.

Anne Bowen Blasts Kanye West for Fashion Week Surprise

“We have been prepping for a year for this at considerable financial, labor- and commitment-cost to our company. Our show date has been scheduled for months and has been on the Fashion Calendar for weeks. We went through all the proper channels to make this a reality. And just yesterday we learned that Kanye West is having a show at the same time on the same date as ours.” Designer Anne Bowen tells WWD of her profound disappoint regarding West’s decision to hold an unannounced show at Fashion Week to debut his streetwear collection. Bowen had to change her show date, costing money and major PR resources.

Don’t Ask Serena Williams Why She Isn’t Smiling!

Serena Williams has a reputation for a rather prickly disposition, but who cares? Do we focus on a man’s cantankerous temperament, and ask HIM why HE isn’t smiling? When asked by a reporter why she isn’t more jovial, Williams went for a harsh truth, saying, “To be perfectly honest with you, I don’t want to be here. I just want to be in bed right now and I have to wake up early to practice. And I don’t want to answer any of these questions. You guys keep asking me the same questions… You’re not making it super enjoyable. Just being honest.” See below for her kick-ass response.

Jessica Simpson: Nick Lachey Marriage Was a “Money Mistake”

When asked about her “biggest money mistakes” during an appearance on CNBC’s Closing Bell, Jessica Simpson joked about her “first marriage,” to Nick Lachey. Her answer is interesting on numerous levels. First, when Jessica married Nick Lachey, he was the primary earner, having made a lot of money with 98 Degrees. As a result, her father encouraged her to forgo a pre-nup, with the obvious assumption that it wasn’t in her interest. She didn’t anticipate that the financials would quickly turn and that decision would later work against her. At the time, rumors circulated that Lachey was a gentleman in his departure, taking home less than $1.5 million. Judging by Jessica’s joke, those rumors might not have been accurate. Watch below.

Damon Wayans Calls Bill Cosby Accusers “Unrapeable”

Damon Wayans defended Bill Cosby, calling his accusers “unrapable,” and implying that they were likely lying in their accusations. He also questioned how they could be raped more than once, in addition to asking why anyone in their right mind would rape an unconscious woman. Moreover, he asked why a woman would take a Quaalude from a man that isn’t a doctor, thereby attaching some responsibility to the horrific act. Aside from the obvious objection to those statements, after watching the interview in full, it’s clear that Damon is a malcontent who isn’t happy with the success of others. Watch below

Caitlyn Jenner Doesn’t Support Gay Marriage?

Caitlyn Jenner is an enigma. How do you immerse yourself in the LGBT community yet in no way identify with their struggle or their fight for equal rights? How do you cower at the idea of gay marriage, yet expect the world to fully accept your gender transition? If you watch ‘I Am Cait,’ there’s a moment when Caitlyn uses the word “they” instead of “us” in reference to not being a freak, and Candance Cayne quickly corrects her. When Caitlyn visited Ellen DeGeneres, the comedian was quick to bring up the subject, and the answer is clear. As for Ellen’s reaction, she isn’t pleased, later admitting to Howard Stern that she found her stance confusing, especially given that Ellen doesn’t fully understand the Trans community yet still supports full equal rights. Dear Pink: You Started it. Demi Didn’t.

If you’re going to throw stones in a lake, don’t be surprised when the ripples splash you in the face. Pink took to instagram to diss the Video Music Awards, saying, “I felt sad because music is supposed to inspire. It saved my life. This trash won’t save any kids life. In a world that is even scarier and with lives still worth saving, who will stand up and have soul? Disenfranchised to say the least.” She then highlighted the only performances she liked, noticeably leaving out stars like Demi Lovato, who didn’t take kindly to the call-out, saying, “Cool For The Summer may not “save kid’s lives” or “inspire” but I’d say Skyscraper & Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people.” Pink then clarified saying she has no issues with Lovato and, she “didn’t intend for the angry people of the world to latch on and make it into something it isn’t. Peace.”

Much like Nicki Minaj, Pink’s general criticism landed on a less-than-thrilled pop star who directly responded. It’s 100% percent fine to speak your mind, but be prepared for a reply, and don’t accuse the world of going negative when your original comment was predicated on negativity. As for the VMAs, certainly those performances were largely sub-par, but just because there’s no inspirational, on-stage snake or sub-par aerial choreography, doesn’t mean it failed. Also, no one cares about the VMAs, and no one has ever pretended that it’s supposed to celebrate true art or save lives.
