Movieline is reporting that Conan O’Brien’s band leader, Max Weinberg, is vying to replace Kevin Eubanks as Leno’s bandleader. He apparently has wanted the job as ‘The Tonight Show’ band leader for some time, and when Leno replaced Conan, Weinberg defected Team Coco. Movieline also points out that Weinberg and Conan may not have as close a relationship as originally thought, as Weinberg is “conspicuously absent” from Conan’s summer tour. Maybe if Conan goes to Fox he can employ Kevin Eubanks as his bandleader, and then he and Leno can call it even.

Nicollette Sheridan v. Marc Cherry: More Details Revealed
Nikki Finke of Deadline, revealed more details about the dispute. Here’s her coverage in a nutshell: Marc Cherry did in fact slap Nicollette, but only to reenact a scene in which Neal McDonough’s character was supposed to slap her, because Cherry wasn’t satisfied with how she was reacting. As far as Teri Hatcher goes, she allegedly denied having ever badmouthed Cherry to ABC. You can read the rest of the deets on Deadline, but here are my thoughts. I would guess that Cherry and Sheridan did not get along while she was on the show, and as a result, he chose not to renew her contract. Sheridan claims to have been fired in her suit for complaining about Cherry. The thing is – she was on the show for a five full years, which is the standard length of these contracts. Once her contract was fulfilled, it wasn’t renewed, which is different than being “fired.” Whether Cherry was actually abusive, who knows. I would guess we would have heard this from insiders on the set that usually leak this stuff to the press (remember when Isaiah Washington referred to T.R. Knight as a “faggot” on the Grey’s Anatomy set and the press got wind?).
Lindsay Lohan v. Perez Hilton
Lindsay Lohan and gossip blogger Perez Hilton got into a war of the words when Hilton said on his website that Lohan suspiciously gets paid in cash for her club appearances. He then said “Ummm…. Drug money?!?!” Lohan responded via twitter, saying “your statement couldn’t be more wrong in every single way. And I find your accusations and slanderous remarks to be gross. Then again, Karma is a bitch, isn’t it? I can’t imagine what yours will be.” What’s funny about this “slander,” is that Lohan just recently attended Perez Hilton’s birthday party. Yes it’s true that his comments came after the party, but Perez has been bashing her on his website forever, and she still decided to show. I guess all you have to do for forgiveness is throw a celeb attended party. I’m sure she’ll be at his next one.
Cause of Plane Crash that Injured Travis Barker & DJ AM and Killed 4 Others Revealed
It’s been revealed that the cause of the 2008 plane crash was due to the under-inflated tires. The tires had not been checked for three weeks and were 36% under-inflated. Additionally, because the Captain made the tragic decision to abort the takeoff after the tire popped, the plane overshot the runway and crashed into an embankment. Horrific.

Sandra Bullock has broken her silence to squash rumors of a sex tape between her and Jesse James. What I find particularly interesting, is that this is the only rumor that she has come forward to squash. I suppose it’s because it’s the only one that she is directly involved with. I guess she won’t confirm or deny whether Jesse James is a nazi.
Kate Gosselin responded to Jon’s custody petition by reminding everyone that she is appearing on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to provide for her children. You go girl! It’s not like she can rely on Jon for financial support, considering he destroyed his public image, and I imagine laying brick won’t support 8 children.
George Clooney debunked rumors that he and his non smiling girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, have split up, calling the story “made up.”

On this season of ‘Celebrity Fit Club,’ Kevin Federline apologized to his ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson, during a pretty cringe-worthy scene. Though Britney Spears is never directly mentioned by name, it is clear what he is apologizing for. He claims to have “got caught up in [his] own selfishness. You might remember that Spears and Federline got together while Shar was pregnant with her second child with Federline. She did an interview at the time with US Weekly, saying that they were very much together when he took up with Spears. Spears claimed during an infamous, tearful interview with Matt Lauer, that she did not know about Jackson when she began dating Federline. Got that? Watch below.

Jamie Foxx Responds to Howard Stern Calling him Gay
Jamie Foxx responded to Howard Stern calling him a homosexual, with a series of insults that makes me hope Jamie Foxx disappears off the face of the planet. First of all, he called Stern’s sidekick, Robin Quivers, a “nigger bitch.” Second, he joked about Artie Lange’s horrific suicide attempt. Third, he denied being gay, with a series of gay impersonations that I found to be juvenile and offensive. The funny thing about this is that I actually believe Jamie Foxx to be a homosexual. I’ve heard it amidst many Hollywood rumors, and Stern’s confirmation convinced me. Though I admit I’ve never actually seen him have sex with a man. Anyways, he’s a horrible person for all of the above reasons. Listen to the audio below and judge for yourself.
Nicollette Sheridan Sues ‘Despeate Housewives’ Creator Marc Cherry!!!
My jaw dropped to the floor when I heard this. Nicollete Sheridan is suing Marc Cherry, the creator of ‘Desperate Housewives,’ for assault and battery, gender violence, and wrongful termination. She alleges that he slapped her in the face on the set, and when she complained, he fired her. She also claims he created a hostile work environment, as he was “abusive and aggressive.” Wow. The tabloids reported the slap a long time ago, but Cherry dismissed it and the story died. It was also reported that Sheridan was so angry about her firing, she ransacked her trailer before leaving. Maybe those stories were true after all.
