FHM placed the legendary Britney Spears as #4 on it’s 100 sexiest women list. It’s no secret that I am a die hard Britney Spears fan. After all, how could I possibly run on the treadmill without singing ‘Oops! . . . I Did it Again,’ and picturing myself in a see through sequined outfit. So it only makes sense that she’d get picked. The other women in the top 10 include: Marisa Miller; Megan Fox, Kristen Stewart; Blake Lively; Jessica Alba; Lea Michele; Lady Gaga; Taylor Swift; and Leighton Meester. Go Britney!

Lady Gaga Appears on Larry King – And Dresses Like Him (Video)
Lady Gaga is hilarious. She interviewed with Larry King, and she chose to copy his style of dressing for the interview. She was wearing a big tie with suspenders! What makes this even better, is that Gaga did the same thing when she interviewed with Barbara Walters. Perez Hilton appeared on ‘The View’ and confirmed Gaga’s intention after Walters told him that she didn’t expect Gaga to dress so conservatively in the interview. “She told me she was dressing like you,” Perez told Walters (who seemed rather flustered at the revelation). Watch the clip below to see what I’m talking about, and scroll through the second clip to see the Barbara Walters interview.
Artie Lange Update: Will He Ever Return to Howard Stern?
I stumbled across a re-cap of the wrap up show recently and was surprised to discover that no one seems to know if Lange will return. Gary Dell’Abate, the producer for the show, said that Lange’s return is dependant on whether Stern re-signs with Sirius, indicating that Lange won’t be returning within the year (Stern’s contract is up in January, 2011). He also said that Artie is “not good but better.” Since Stern has yet to use guest hosts for Lange’s chair, I’m guessing that Stern hasn’t decided if Lange will return. That could be because Stern isn’t sure if he would allow Lange to return, or he simply doesn’t know if Lange is physically or mentally capable of returning. Let’s hope Artie Lange makes a full recovery. Listen to Dell’Abate discuss the situation below.

Bill Carter is Working on a Sequel to ‘The Late Shift’
If you’ve never read a book by Bill Carter, it’s time to start. I just finished reading ‘Desperate Networks,’ which kept me in solitary confinement for the past week because I couldn’t put it down. Carter is most famous for penning ‘The Late Shift,’ which chronicled the very ugly Leno/Letterman transition of ‘The Tonight Show’ when Johnny Carson left. So I naturally wondered if he is going to write another book about the Leno/Conan debacle, and I am happy to report that it is in the works. Carter told the New York Times that he is trying to get the book out as “as soon as [he] can,” and he is “reaching out to all sides” so that he has an unbiased point of view.
Barbara Walters Turned Down Jesse James Interview
I have no idea why this didn’t occur to me earlier. Jesse James allegedly approached Barbara Walters for his image clearing interview, and she turned him down out of loyalty to Sandra Bullock. I noted in my previous post that I thought the interviewer that he chose, Vicki Mabrey, came off as judgmental and certainly didn’t help him plead his case. At the time, I thought that he should have chosen Babs, but now I realize that Babs rejected him!
New York Magazine Calls Out Lost – "You Betrayed Us"
Emily Nussbaum of New York Magazine wrote a very long, detailed article about everything that ‘Lost’ did wrong. It’s getting a lot of attention, mainly because she’s merely reiterating the fan backlash about the final episode. The main complaint is that the creators of the series did not properly map out the storyline, as they had promised. All along they told us that they had a plan in mind, while they were instead making it up as they went along. That’s the argument anyways. Personally, I stopped watching the show after Season 1. I seem to be the only person on the planet that got angry about it being science fiction. Apparently, the intention from day one was to make the show science fiction, and I didn’t get the memo. Anyways, read the article at your own risk (I’ve posted the link below). It’s pretty harsh, but as ‘Lost’ showrunner Damon Lindelof has said, “if you get to close to the sun, you are going to get burned.”
The Women of Sex and the City on The View (video)
I just stumbled on this interview and I had to post it. This is one of my favorite promotional interviews for the movie, because the women actually say some real, down to earth things, instead of all the “we’re so grateful for our success” crap. Kim Cattrall is my favorite. I’ve never seen her this open in an interview. She says some pretty revealing things while still keeping it light. I posted the full show, so go to the eight minute mark to start the interview.
