Tom Cruise and JLO Get Down and Dirty at the Mtv Movie Awards (Video)

It’s official.  We are can all start loving Tom Cruise again.  Cruise made an appearance at the Mtv Movie Awards as Les Grossman, his hilarious character from ‘Tropic Thunder.’  He was joined by Jennifer Lopez, who appropriately slapped his ass.  Watch below, and when you are done – I don’t want to ever hear a negative word about Tom Cruise again.  From here on out – the era of Cruise hating is over.

Halle Berry Launches Fragrance – And One of the Strangest Ads Ever

So both Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez are launching fragrances, and in the side-by-side photo advertisement comparison, I couldn’t help but notice just how terrible Halle Berry’s ad is.  My problem is not that she shaded her face.  It’s that she shaded her face while revealing her nose, which makes her look like some strange man in the darkness with a gigantic honker (and no – I am not sensitive to this because of my humongous schnoz so back off).  I’d also like to point out that she should take Jennifer Lopez’s lead and reveal her face in its entirety.  Lopez clearly knows what she’s doing, as she’s launched 16 perfumes which have collectively grossed over $1 billion dollars.  If you are going to use your celebrity to sell your own product, then use your celebrity!  Don’t cover it up!  See the picture by clicking on the link below.

Jennifer Lopez Recording Session Outtake Leaked

Audio from Jennifer Lopez’s recording session has leaked, and it’s pretty funny. She is covering Barbara Streisand’s song, ‘Enough is Enough,’ and has some trouble getting in key.  It’s nice to see her laugh at herself and be a little self-deprecating.  Listen below.

Nygel Lythgoe is Upset with Paula Abdul

Nygel Lythgoe has finally explained why Paula Abdul never made an appearance on ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’  After her ‘American Idol’ negotiations fell through, Nigel tried to get her for SYTYCD.  Regarding his efforts Nigel said, “I spent an entire season wooing her and if she was ever going to do it, she would have. The timing was perfect for her.  I was rather shocked she didn’t pick up and join us at any point. I mean, Katie Holmes was there, Jennifer Lopez was there. I know we don’t have Idol money and so does Paula, but at the end of the day I do plenty of things for no money because I want to support dance.  And as an dancer/performer/choreographer, I would have thought she’d like to support us.”  It sounds like Abdul needs to sack her new manager.  She hired David Sonenberg as a manager early last year right around the time she made all of these erratic career choices.  First she loses her ‘American Idol’ gig, then she turns down SYTYCD, and her recent ‘Star Search‘ negotiations fell through.  It’s time to get a new team Paula.

Hollywood Remake Alert: Jennifer Lopez Will Star in ‘Overboard’

Jennifer Lopez will star in Overboard, a remake of the 1987 film starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel.  The film will be produced by Will Smith’s production company, and the writer of the original film is said to be working on the remake.  No word yet on whether the remake will have a twist on the original story, which centers around a rich stuck up woman that gets amnesia and is taken in by a man that convinces her that she is his wife and the mother of his children.  Got that?  Seeing as how I still see this movie everyday on cable, I am not too excited about the remake.

Jennifer Lopez Will Make an Appearance on ‘How I Met Your Mother’

Is there any medium that Jennifer Lopez cannot do? Dance, television, movies, music, etc . . . Lopez will appear on a March 8th episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ as a self-help guru with a crush on Neil Patrick Harris.

Sue Sylvestor Gets a Rival

Molly Shannon is joining Glee as Sue Sylvestor’s rival. Her character is described as a “busty 45-year-old new astronomy teacher and badminton coach at McKinley High School who is both an alcoholic and a pill-popper.” That sounds wonderful! Jane Lynch is one of the funniest actresses out there, so it only makes sense to put her up against Molly Shannon for insane hilarity. The folks over at Glee sure have been busy with casting decisions during the American Idol hiatus. First Idina Menzel, then Neil Patrick Harris, and now Molly Shannon! Jennifer Lopez is even rumored to appear.
