Robyn Performs on SNL — Kills It!

I used to stand in front of my mirror with a fake snake around my neck pretending to be Britney Spears, imagining that I could dance like her. Years later, I’m confident I can dance better than her. That has more to do with her decline than my improvement. But after watching Saturday Night Live, it appears I have someone new to impersonate. Robyn killed it. Watch below.

Kris Humphries & Kim Kardashian’s Marriage Troubles on TV — Watch it Unravel

There comes a point in almost every relationship when the things you loved about someone become the things you hate. Usually, that point happens after a few years together. But in Kim Kardashian’s case, it happened after a few months. The producers of Kourtney & Kim Take New York are editing Kris Humphries to look terrible, but both parties are clearly to blame. How do you marry someone without first deciding where to live? And also — who takes a bath in full makeup? Watch after the jump.

Alec Baldwin Addresses Airplane Debacle on SNL — BRILLIANT!

Alec Baldwin is the king of public-relations-damage-control. You’d think the guy would go into hiding until the dust settled from his verbal spar with the American Airlines crew over Words With Friends. But Baldwin did the opposite. He appeared on Saturday Night Live as the pilot, insisting that “Alec Baldwin is a national treasure.” Watch below.

The Black Keys — Lonely Boy — Best Video Ever

In the privacy of my abode, I often do a happy dance in front of the mirror to my favorite music. This is quite the site, and if you’re lucky enough to spy, I think you’ll find I look very much like the gentleman in The Back Keys new video, “Lonely Boy.” The man in question is Derrick T. Tuggle, a 48 year old actor, musician, and part-time security guard. Tuggle said his performance was just a “spur-of-the-moment thing,” stemming from what was originally supposed to be a minor appearance as an extra in the video. Apparently, he was so impressive he became the star. Tuggle said he took his moves from everywhere, including, “John Travolta from ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and ‘Pulp Fiction,’ the Carlton Banks dance from ‘The Fresh Prince’ and a little bit of Michael Jackson.” He nailed it in one take.

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy Pictures Leaked — She’s Naked

When Marilyn Monroe appeared on the first issue of Playboy Magazine in 1953, it was revolutionary. Hugh Hefner battled against American’s puritanical values and brought sex into public conversation. But decades later, sex is everywhere. Actresses sexualize themselves to become popular, and almost every A-lister has graced a magazine cover nearly naked. So when Lindsay Lohan posed for Playboy Magazine, I wasn’t impressed. First, she’s already been naked numerous times, thereby decreasing my curiosity, and second, the pictures are heavily airbrushed. Unfortunately or fortunately, her career plummeted, and the Playboy shoot probably provided some much-needed cash. The end of an actresses career is very similar to the beginning — you take what you can get, because the offers are limited. So she did. And though she’s certainly pretty enough to pull this off – I find it generally boring.

Quote of the Day — MTV’s Adam King

“The joy of being with someone isn’t in the being loved, the joy is in the loving. Sure it’s nice when it’s reciprocated, but it’s fun to have a crush on someone . . . even if it turns out months later that it wasn’t as real as [you] thought . . . .” Adam King of MTV’s The Challenge: Rivals, on his brief hook-up with fellow contestant, Jenn Grijalva.

Rachel Crow Collapses on X Factor — Children Should Not Compete!

Rachel Crow’s emotional breakdown on X Factor proves why children do not belong performing on television competition shows. She’s certainly a superb singer who far exceeded her fellow contestants. That being said, she is not emotionally equipped to handle a nationally televised rejection. She cried hysterically and fell to the floor while asking for her mother. Simon Cowell attempted a rescue, which I surmise entailed his verbal assurance that she will get a record deal despite losing the prize. But this show crossed a moral line, and I can only hope that Rachel’s painful reaction will serve to increase next year’s age limitation. I’ve posted the elimination video below, along with her incredible final performance where she sang for her life. And one more thing before I go — Nicole Scherzinger needs to be fired. Watch the video after the jump.

Barbara Walters Talks to Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for ABC — Great Interview

Barbara Walters is the best interviewer in history. Her questions are short, poignant, and cutting. Her interview with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is no exception. He clearly respects her, yet he makes no apology for his country’s brutality. In fact, he denies that he authorized it, and he denies whether it happened at all, despite a plethora of evidence otherwise. Watch below.

‘The Three Stooges’ Trailer Released — Looks Awful

When performers invents their style of art, it’s nearly impossible to duplicate it and have the same effect (remember ‘Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd’?). Such is the case with The Three Stooges, which has been resurrected by 20th Century Fox in an attempt to capitalize on their film library. Translation? — Money talks and art suffers. Watch below.
