Vanessa Williams will appear on Desperate Housewives to allegedly fill the vixen void of Nicollette Sheridan. Though the details are limited, she will have some relationship with Mark Moses/”Paul”.
Jessica Biel will appear on Broadway in the musical adaptation of Pedro Almodovar’s film, ‘Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.’ Biel has always had musical aspirations; she appeared in ‘Guy’s and Dolls’ at the Hollywood Bowl last summer. You might remember Perez Hilton poking fun at her singing ability on his blog.
Charlie Sheen is returning to Two and a Half Men, despite the many press releases otherwise, and his endless insistence that those press leaks were not a “negotiating ploy.” He thanks Les Moonves for his support along with the announcement. By “support,” I am sure he means the oodles and oodles of money that they are paying him.
Bret Michaels will appear in VH1’s new docu-series, ‘Life as I know it.’ The series will follow Bret’s off-stage life, including his children and his Baby Momma, Kristi Gibson. I find it interesting that the press release reveals that Bret lives with Kristi. Am I to believe that Rock of Love was a giant sham!? It simply cannot be.

The Cast of Armageddon Introduce the Film
I had the honor of attending a screening of Armageddon tonight, with Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton, Michael Clarke Duncan, and William Fichtner introducing the film. The screening was a tribute producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who is now promoting Prince of Persia. Aside from the many flattering stories the actors told about working with Bruckheimer, the most important part is that they all look fantastic in person. Billy Bob Thorton did make a very funny joke about how Bruce Willis was the most famous star of the film . . . at that time. Willis took the hit in stride. There was no question or comments, but if I could have said something, I probably would have told Fichtner that ‘Go’ is one of the best movies of all time. See a picture from the event below.

Movie Review: Iron Man 2
The great Robert McKee says that you can tell within the first ten minutes of a film whether you will like it overall. That was certainly the case with Iron Man 2. Before you read further, please be aware that you don’t have to worry about me revealing plot details, because there simply isn’t a plot. Here’s the “story” in a nutshell: Robert Downey Jr. is an ego-maniac that women want to sleep with, and a certain disturbing looking individual hopes to kill. Why? Who knows. Perhaps you should go see the movie and alert me if I missed something. I also finally understand why there were so many rumors about a Gwyneth Paltrow/Scarlett Johansson feud. If I were Gwyneth, I would be infuriated by Johansson’s character. There is absolutely no reason for her existence, other than to be a hot chick that draws men to the theater. In fact, for mostly all of the film, she stands next to Gwyneth Paltrow and caters to Tony Stark, which pretty much invalidates the purpose of Paltrow’s character. I really did hope this film would be good. I loved the original, and was very excited for the follow-up. But as my brother pointed out, sequels that are released so close to the original film, are usually terrible. They are too rushed to be of high quality. I would still encourage you to see the film though – Robert Downey Jr. sure is yummy to look at.

Grey’s Anatomy Spoiler Alert: I Know Who Dies on the Finale
If you don’t want any idea about who dies on the season finale, stop reading this. I wasn’t tipped off, and this is merely speculation. I’d put money on it though. Why? Because Miranda Bailey’s love interest, Jason George or “Dr. Ben Warren,” has signed on for a new Shonda Rimes medical show that was just picked up. That means he can’t do both shows, and I’m guessing Shonda Rimes will send him off in style. It isn’t like her to let anyone leave happily, and I can’t imagine that she’ll lose more than one cast member in the finale. Poor Miranda. I feel bad for Miranda’s character and for Chandra Wilson herself, who finally got a juicy, original story-line, just to have it taken from her after a limited number of episodes. Even if I’m wrong about the death, I’m certain he’ll leave the show – it’s just a matter of how.

Larry Rudolph is Still Managing Britney Spears
The greatest piece of news that came out of Britney Spears singing Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone,’ is that Larry Rudolph is still managing Spears’ career. In an interview with music producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Darkchild insisted that he didn’t leak the track, as he would “never leak something without Britney Spears approval, without Larry Rudolph, without Jive Records.” Larry Rudolph managed Britney Spears when she originally shot to fame with ‘Baby One More Time,’ and she fired him shortly after marrying Kevin Federline. She brought him back to resurrect her career after her breakdown. I haven’t heard much about him since, and I was concerned that she sacked him and the press never got wind. I am happy to report that my speculation was amiss. Listen to the Britney version of ‘Telephone’ below.
Russell Crowe Storms Out of BBC Radio Interview – Listen to the Audio
Russell Crowe is back to his old tricks. In an interview to promote ‘Robin Hood,’ Crowe angrily walked-out after the interviewer suggested that his accent in the film sounded Irish instead of the intended Northern English accent. Apparently, this isn’t the first time someone has suggested that, and Crowe became irate. Shocker. You would think that Russell Crowe would have undergone some serious anger management counseling after the phone throwing incident almost ruined his career. Listen to the interview below.
