Dancing With the Stars Re-Airs Yesterday’s Episode – Are you Joking?

Am I hallucinating?  Why on earth would the geniuses at ABC choose to re-air yesterday’s show?  Oh wait . . . it just occurred to me.  They are trying to compete with the ‘American Idol’ finale from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.  You guys don’t have any original programming?  After all, last night’s show is already uploaded on the ABC website.  I wouldn’t be so infuriated if I didn’t momentarily think I lost my sanity  while watching this repeat.

Howard Stern Goes to the ‘Sex and the City 2’ Premiere – See Pictures

For some reason the thought of Howard Stern at the premiere of ‘Sex and the City 2’ makes me laugh hysterically.  If you listened to the show today, you would have heard him endlessly discuss his anxiety about the premiere, because he was to wake up at 4:00am to do his show in the morning.  His solution?  He’ll only watch the first half-hour of the movie and dip out in time to get his full 8 hours of sleep.  At least he got to strike some poses on the red carpet though.  See pictures of Stern and others below.

Joe Jonas Says he Dumped Demi Lovato – Is that Necessary Joe?

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato broke up, and Joe decided to take a very classy approach by letting the press know that it was “his decision” to end the relationship. Really Joe? Next are you going to tell the papers that she put on a few pounds and you just weren’t attracted to her anymore? Just say the breakup was mutual and move on. I think Lovato needs to call Ryan Phillipe, who once said on Howard Stern that he would no longer date a girl with a publicist, after Abbie Cornish felt the need to release a statement that she dumped him and not the other way around.

Dancing With the Stars Finale – The Choreographers Need Choreographers?

Three couples competed for the coveted mirror ball trophy on tonight’s ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ and it was . . . interesting.  Both Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Anna Trebunskaya needed a little extra help from an outside choreographer for their routine.  Am I the only person that thinks this is ridiculous?  I understand that they are only trained in ballroom, but then why don’t you design a free-style routine that is a twist on ball-room?  If you’re unable to choreograph outside of your genre, then you can’t do that routine.  Simple enough.  You didn’t see Derek Hough bringing in outside help, and his routine was the best of them all.  Watch Derek and Nicole’s free-style below.

Britney Spears Beats Ashton Kutcher in Twitter Followers

I can’t decide if this news makes me happy or sad. On the one hand, I’m so in love with Britney Spears that I often find myself dancing in front of my mirror with a fake snake around my shoulders singing “I’m a Slave for You.” On the other hand, Ashton is the King of Twitter. He practically launched the social medium, and I hate to see a king lose his crown. I’ve therefore decided that Ashton and Britney are officially the King AND Queen of Twitter, and they need to have a cup of coffee to discuss what appearances they will make with these titles. Oh to be a fly on the wall during an Ashton/Britney conversation.

Jonathan Groff Makes a Surprise Appearance at the Glee Concert – Sings With Lea Michele

Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele reunited on stage at the ‘Glee’ concert over the weekend.  Groff starred alongside Michele in the original Broadway cast of ‘Spring Awakening,’ and Michele referred to him as her “best friend” on stage.  Though he plays her boyfriend on ‘Glee,’ he wasn’t listed as one of the performers set to appear at the concert.  Watch Michele and Groff sing together below.

Jesse James Sits Down With Nightline – Vicki Mabrey Seems Angry

Jesse James agreed to an interview to “set the record straight,” and unfortunately, he chose a judgmental woman to do the interview.  I realize it’s better for him to be interviewed by a female, given that a man (such as Matt Lauer) might high-five his pussy conquests mid-interview, but wouldn’t it have been better to choose someone a little less angry?  Judging from the clip, Vicki Mabrey is one step away from asking the question pervading her mind – “What the fuck is wrong with you Jesse James!?”  Thankfully, it appears that she bit her tongue before her head exploded.  Barbara Walters would have been the obvious choice, but since she’s recovering from heart surgery, I imagine he chose what he thought was the second-best option. Watch the clip below and tell me if you agree.

Kiefer Sutherland Weeps As ’24’ Comes to an End

Kiefer Sutherland revealed that he cried while addressing the crew to say thank you for their many years together on ’24.’  For those of you who don’t already know, I have a huge crush on Kiefer Sutherland, and the thought of this bad boy coming to tears makes me think I can break him in after all.  It’s hard to believe this is the same guy that my good friend saw at a bar and said, “Hey, you’re Kiefer Sutherland aren’t you?”  At which point Kiefer replied with a big loud burp in my friend’s face.  Immediately after writing this, I will forward this story along to my friend in hopes that he’ll forget the burp and approve my crush.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Donald Trump Asks his Celebrity Panel if They Think Rod Blagojevich is Guilty

Say what you want about Donald Trump, the man has a sense of humor. On tonight’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’  finale, he asked Rod Blagojevich if he thinks that the show helped or hurt him. Blagojevich began his predictable, long monologue of innocence, and when he was finished, Trump stared at him for a moment and then asked: “Show of hands, who here thinks Rod is guilty?”  Everyone laughed, which led Trump to ask it again, this time telling them all he wanted a serious answer.  Aside from Bret Michaels’ triumphant return to television, that was my favorite moment.

Paula Abdul Signs Reality Deal for CBS’s ‘Got to Dance’

Was I too quick to judge Abdul’s new management team?  Vulture confirms that Paula Abdul signed a deal to be a lead judge and executive producer on CBS’s new dancing show, ‘Got to Dance,’ which is said to be a hybrid of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and ‘America’s Got Talent.’  Abdul has turned down many opportunities since leaving ‘American Idol,’ and it now appears that she was just waiting for the best deal.  Being that she is both a judge and an executive producer, that means she makes double the dough.  Good for her!  I am sad that she likely won’t be joining Simon Cowell on ‘X-Factor, but least she’ll be returning to her dancing roots.  She’s sure come a long way since choreographing for Janet Jackson.
