Kylie and Kendall Jenner Won’t Go to College? — Great Idea

Keeping up with the Kardashians promotional poster

Why send your children to college when you can farm them out to your Kardashian empire? And according to Bruce Jenner, as soon as they graduate high school Kyle and Kendall Jenner will be in a position to “go right to working.” Here’s hoping their lack of education will make them just as annoying as their sisters.

Abram and Cara Maria on MTV’s Battle of the Exes — Hate Each Other?

In every relationship there comes a point where both parties remain absolutely silent, for fear that even the word “hello” will start an argument. One thinks that’s the time to pull the plug; however, most relationships unfortunately end long after the boiling point. Such is the case with Abram and Cara-Maria, who are competing on MTV’s show, Battle of the Exes, where they are forced to pair up as teammates. In the clip below, you’ll see that there’s a fine line between love and hate.

Jim Carrey’s Daugther Got Special Treatment — Who Cares?!

Hollywood is run by nepotism, and so is every other industry on the planet. So lets stop feigning outrage at Jim Carrey’s daughter skipping the line on American Idol. Have you ever asked your parent to recommend you for a job? Have you ever pulled strings to get back stage at a concert? We’ve all wiggled our way through a line in our lives, it’s just that some people are better at hiding it. And as an aside, why is Jane Carrey “waitressing on and off?” Isn’t she Jim Carrey’s daughter? Watch her audition below.

Quote of the Day — Joan Rivers v. Chelsea Handler

“The girl made it laying on her back fucking the President.” Joan Rivers on Chelsea Handler, referring to Chelsea’s former relationship with the then head of E!, Ted Harbart. To be fair, Joan said this to Howard Stern in response to Chelsea Handler’s attack on Joan Rivers from the day prior. The lesson? — Don’t piss off Joan Rivers.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Discusses Republican Debate — Loses Her Mind

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. If you can’t discuss a topic on a topic-driven show without your head exploding, then it’s time for you to get another job. To put it simply, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is unprofessional. Perhaps she should look across the table to Barbara Walters who managed to interview some of the most heinous individuals in history without so much as blinking strangely. Grow up, Hasselbeck.

CT and Diem Reunite for MTV’s Battle of the Exes — Still in Love?

There are very few reality show couples that I believe to be truly in love. But CT and Diem’s love story was one of the more magical things to watch. He fell in love with her when she was in her cancer recovery and her hair was just growing back, and she tamed the bad boy. When MTV brought them back together for another show, I was elated. After all, deep down inside I’m nothing but a hopeless romantic. Watch them discuss the show below. Here’s hoping the second time around is a charm. Quote of the Day — Steven Tyler Gets Naked for JLO

“Hey, I’m from Boston! I love water . . . . Well I sat at La Reve all week and I just thought, I’ve watched the show all week and I’m a water guy and . . .  I just wanted a good excuse to take my clothes off in front of J.Lo.” Steven Tyler on why he went for a naked swim in the hotel pool, only to be discovered by a very surprised Jennifer Lopez.

Steven Tyler Struggles With the National Anthem — Is the Delay to Blame?

I don’t know much about singing (except for when I’m in the shower, of course). But I fortunately hang out with a group of musicians that answer all of my annoying music-related questions. So when Steven Tyler received a substantial amount of criticism for butchering the national anthem, I immediately asked my posse why it’s so hard to sing. They explained that there’s a delay in the stadium so the singer can’t properly hear themselves. And there you have it. Can we back off Steven Tyler now? He’s only one of the best front-mans in the history of music. Listen below.

Sharon Stone’s AARP Interview — Discusses Divorce

On Her Brain Hemorrhage

“I came out of the hospital with short- and long-term memory loss. My lower left leg was numb. I couldn’t hear out of my right ear. The side of my face was falling down. I thought, ‘I’ll never be pretty again. Who’s going to want to be around me?’”

On her Miscarriage and Choosing to Adopt

“The last time I lost the baby. I went into 36 hours of labor. While we were at the hospital, our adoption attorney called. I thought, ‘This is such a godsend. This is so right.”

On Her Divorce from Phil Bronstein

“He just didn’t see me, talk to me, look at me.”

“His initial intention with me was probably corrupt. I was suckered. I’m embarrassed to say that.”

On Parenting

“I’m loving raising my kid. Quinn is in junior kindergarten, and he’s very exclamatory! Like a little FBI agent, he tells you everything that’s happening, so I call him Agent Quinn. ‘Mom! Toots pooped in the yard!’ ‘Thank you, Agent Quinn.’ And Laird is like a rocket. He came home with his violin from school yesterday and played it all night. He’s a big romancer: When you talk to him on the phone, he’s like, ‘I’m in love with you, Mommy.’ ”

“I’ve made humanitarian causes and my children much more my priority than the Hollywood scene, being liked and getting movie parts.”

On Her Future as an Actor

“If I’m not going to be a big movie star again, then guess what? That wasn’t my destiny.”

“People call and want me to play parts that I used to play. I’m like, ‘You have no idea what I have been through!’”

On Dealing with Hardship

“I thought I’d never be okay again. But you can get okay—though you have to have fortitude.”

“I would go to these [philanthropic] events where I had to get on stage. I would be in the wings, with people looking at me, my head on the floor, praying: ‘God, please help me. I know I have to go out there and raise money. But I’ve lost my child, I’ve lost my health, I’ve lost everything’ I was just broken.”

On Seeking a Relationship

“I’m not just going to be with a guy so there’s a guy in my life.”

Quote of the Day — Cynthia Nixon — Is Being Gay a Choice?

“I gave a speech recently . . . and it included the line ‘I’ve been straight and I’ve been gay, and gay is better.’ And they tried to get me to change it, because they said it implies that homosexuality can be a choice. And for me, it is a choice. I understand that for many people it’s not, but for me it’s a choice, and you don’t get to define my gayness for me. A certain section of our community is very concerned that it not be seen as a choice, because if it’s a choice, then we could opt out. I say it doesn’t matter if we flew here or we swam here, it matters that we are here and we are one group and let us stop trying to make a litmus test for who is considered gay and who is not.” Cynthia Nixon’s controversial comment on whether homosexuality is a choice.
