Scott Disick’s Alcoholism Featured on Hamptons Episodes

Doesn’t an inside look at the addictions of a person who recently lost both his parents seem HILARIOUS? In fact, it’s apparently entertaining enough to broadcast on national television with zero educational additions about seeking help for alcoholism. Scott Disick’s addiction issues have long been a subject of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, yet his family clearly values fame over privacy. The clip in question is below, and if you are seeking help, visit HERE to find meetings in your area.

Donnie Wahlberg & Jenny McCarthy Copy Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey

donnie_wahlberg_jenny_mccarthyAll celebrities swear their relationship is strong enough to survive reality television, despite overwhelming evidence against it. In a shocking move, Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have boarded the same crazy train that saw the demise of far too many marriages. While I’m less surprised by McCarthy’s move, Wahlberg’s compliance is confusing. He’s an actor with credible credits, and his pop-star, NKOTB status likely secured enough finances for his entire family. And if they plan to restrict the show’s access to secure their privacy, the content will inevitably fail. This is a lose-lose proposition, and it’s not only creatively questionable, it’s also dumb.

Michael Strahan Interview with Cigar Afionado

MICHAEL_STRAHAN_CIGARAFICIONADO

NFL great and television talk show host Michael Strahan sat down with Cigar Afionado for an exclusive interview, and the gentle Giant talked football, the limelight, and what’s next for his career. Read some choice quotes below.

On knowing no limits: “I don’t limit myself and I tell my kids not to let anyone limit you. That’s one of the great things I learned from my dad. He never said, ‘If…’ It wasn’t ‘If you’re drafted by the pros.’ It was always ‘When.’ When you’re drafted by the pros. He made things seem like they were supposed to happen.”

On his football field strategy: “I always looked at football as psychological. It was like chess, where you’re figuring out what your opponent’s next move will be, or how to make them move where you want them to…That’s one of the things I miss—that chess match.”

On the difference in his life since leaving football: “I’m not sore every morning.”

Co-host Kelly Ripa on Strahan’s surprising shyness: “All he has are strengths. He can talk about anything…If charm was a drug, you could extract it from his body and give it to everyone…People run up and hug him. They see a big personality. But in his private time, he’s really very shy.”

On his “Live with Kelly and Michael” audience: “Those are the only ones we really think about talking to. If I started thinking about how many people are actually watching us on TV, it would freak me out.”

On being in the limelight: “One of the most embarrassing things to me is people yelling out my name in the street, I want to be the guy who can walk in and out of a room and you don’t know I’ve been there…I miss being able to sit in a restaurant and not have people try to sneak a photo with their cameras.”

On finding anonymity within the community of cigar smokers: “Cigars solicit conversation. You see someone smoking a cigar and you feel instantly closer to them.”

On his choice cigars: “For the most part, I like my cigars light and sweet. Sometimes, though, give me something robust that will knock my socks off. I think the little ones look funny in my hand because I’m such a big guy. But I don’t want a cigar that’s the size of my thumb either.”

On his many ventures off of the field and what’s next: “Someone asked me what I’d like my legacy to be. When I thought about it, I decided I’d like to have been more successful outside of football than I was in it…I’m not done yet. I’ve got a long way to go.”

Nick Viall Reveals He Had Sex With Andi Dorfman — SAY WHAT?!

There’s an argument to be made that sex is necessary for deciphering ones feelings rather than an experience that represents them. I’ve heard the former more than once, and it’s weak. Must things move to that level to fully understand one’s feelings? Past the age of 17, I’d like to think we’re more evolved. So when Nick Viall went on national television to reveal his sexual rendezvous with Andi Dorfman just before getting dumped by The Bachelorette, I clapped for his candor. It’s not classless, it’s important. Having sex with another person just days before your engagement is non-real-world ridiculousness, and Nick Viall deserves a relationship based in reality. Plus, Andi repeatedly refused a private conversation, so his push for clarity trumps privacy. As for what we’ve learned, it’s refreshing to know both men and women are equal opportunity offenders in the lead-on department. I’ll think about that the next time someone whispers sweet nothings in my ear in an attempt to get laid. We’re all in this together. WATCH BELOW

Jason Biggs Defends Jenny Mollen on ‘The View’ — WATCH NOW

Jason Biggs is a likable guy, as is his wife, Jenny Mollen. Unfortunately, they are lesser than the sum of their parts. Biggs catapulted to fame with the success of the ‘American Pie’ franchise, and he’s still of an elevated status. His wife has gained fame as a writer, most recently releasing, ‘I Like You Just the Way I am.’ The book recounts a personal story about a threesome gone wrong, in what both her and Jason call a “comedy of errors.’ Though it’s cute when couples promote one another’s success, this case is an exception. Jason is too big a star to get caught up in such a public exposé of his private life, and by mentioning Jason in every interview, it appears as if Jenny is using his status to elevate her own. If I were to advise both parties on the proper PR move, I’d encourage them to carve their own career path.

Biggs visited ‘The View’ after the very feisty ladies took aim at his wife for tempering the most salacious parts of her story, and he eloquently explained her trepidation. He insisted that her contradictory character was in large part due to the nature of daytime television, and he also couldn’t resist a barb back at Candace Cameron, who previously chastised their marital choices. Though Biggs’ debating skills are incredibly impressive, I have to once again emphasize that Jason Biggs should be spending time talking about his own career, instead of getting tied up in this mess. Roseanne Barr Visits Howard Stern — LISTEN NOW

Roseanne Barr stopped by Sirius satellite radio for an interview with Howard Stern to promote Last Comic Standing, and she did not disappoint. Barr was incredibly candid about the behind-the-scenes drama associated with her former hit show, along with the annoying executives who tanked her most recent efforts for a new television project. According to Barr, “When they tell you you’re a genius, it means you’re going to get f-d in the ass.” Stern also asked for her take on many of the most-coveted comedians, and she was honest with her answers. According to Barr, “Any guy who does one tenth of what [a woman does] gets ten times the praise.” Tune in below for the full interview, and for more of Howard Stern, visit HOWARD 100.
