An Open Letter to Andy Cohen — Bravo’s Real Bad Boy

When Porsha Stewart pulled Kenya Moore to the floor on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, many vocal media outlets chastised her for resorting to violence. Most of those outlets neglected to mention Kenya Moore’s tyrannical megaphone, ridiculous wand, and endless accusations meant to provoke Porsha. They also neglected to address Andy Cohen, who seemed to happily repeat those provocations to Porsha in hopes of welcoming one of the shows notorious retaliations (remember that table-flip from Theresa Guidice?).

It’s astounding that Andy Cohen would scold Porsha for her bad behavior, considering he’s largely responsible for inciting it. Though we all need a paycheck, there comes a time when one has to exit the monkey house in time to stop smelling the shit. Andy allowed that megaphone. Everyone involved that day is guilty, including Andy. As for Kenya’s ridiculous rants about violence, just remember one thing. Violence might be wrong, but at the end of the day — you’re still going to get punched in the face — so perhaps you should be a little smarter about where you wave that wand.

#Blacklist Episode 19 — A Full Review

In a beautifully written masterpiece, episode 19 of Blacklist took home the top prize for the season. After extensive doubt about Liz’s husband, his allegiance to unknown outsiders was finally revealed, and his wife delivered a much-predicted scorned lover speech. Her monologue was slightly less interesting than his though, given that he has the delicate dance of confusing the audience about his intentions. Did he really love his faux wife, or was he simply “doing a job,” as he suggests. Is he evil, or is Reddington evil? The episode sprouted a series of questions that will likely get answered in the weeks to come, but it sure was fun getting one golden revelation. Watch James Spader elegantly deliver a very profound monologue about what Liz deserves.

Dancing With the Stars — Macy’s Stars of Dance Performance

Dancing With the Stars has upped the ante this year, with professional performances from their seasoned elite, along with modern music choices and more talented stars. While the jury is still out on the bid to regain their ratings, they’ve certainly given it their A-Game. Watch my personal favorite, Derek Hough, perform with a group of very talented dancers for a featured routine.

Porsha Williams Attacks Kenya Moore — Everyone’s an A**-HOLE

It’s easy to win your war of the words when things turn violent. Of course the other person is at fault when fisticuffs ensue, right? So when Portia Stewart pulled Kenya Moore’s “hair” during the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, the tabloid media took her down. “Violence is never okay,” said host Andy Cohen in a behind the scenes discussion that conveniently took place in front of the cameras. Stewart was arrested for the event and Cohen feels she owes Moore an apology. But all this insane nonsense ignores the elephant in the room. WHERE’S MY APOLOGY? For years Andy Cohen and the buffoons at Bravo have continued promoting a disgusting show with disgusting women whose diva antics are celebrated on every mainstream outlet imaginable. Their tits are fake, their tirades are toxic, and their livelihood is compromised for a smidgen of fame and a small paycheck. Get a real job, get a real life, and green-light a good show for once. I’ve had it.

Lindsay Lohan Had a Miscarriage — SAY WHAT?!

Lindsay Lohan is notorious for her litany of excuses, and the revelation about her miscarriage is no exception. Though empathy is important, the notorious tales about her unprofessional behavior cannot be undone with such devastating news, especially given that she never even divulged her health problems. In fact, there’s many ways to communicate an inability to perform while still protecting one’s private life. And on top of that, she admitted in the same package that she took Ayahuasca, a known psychedelic hallucinogen. Sure it’s a plant, but so is marijuana. In conclusion, I’d like to say that Lindsay Lohan’s recovery is still in a TBD status. As for whether she’ll have a true “comeback,” there’s always hope. And I’m rooting for her (pun intended).

Scandal Finale — A Full Review

The Scandal series finale involved a complicated series of twists and turns highlighted by disturbing details. With each answer came more questions, leaving open wounds for the next season, which can’t come soon enough.

The episode’s core surrounded the President’s reelection, which was certain to fail after an explosion provided the perfect opportunity for his opponent to look presidential, helping injured citizens while the President himself sat safely in the White House. And while his cohorts lamented his future loss, they simultaneously searched for Olivia’s mother Maya, a suspected terrorist out to kill Fitzgerald Grant.

The hunt for Maya was underscored by Olivia’s father, who helped the search, convincing everyone that he buried his rage and decided to help because his anger toward Maya superseded his hatred for the President. And even Olivia, the notoriously skeptical leader, trusted her father. While the evil writing was on the wall, the revelations were still shocking. After all, isn’t Jake also evil? Who can we trust when everyone’s a murderer and the lines of good and evil no longer exist. As it turns out, we can’t trust anyone. Olivia’s father killed the President’s son, convinced the President it was Maya’s doing, and then brought her to justice to avenge his death and protect the President from assassination. Olivia felt responsible because . . . well . . . she’s a drama queen, and asked her father to sail her off into the sunset to start a new life. Did I mention she took Jake with her?

Amidst all the aforementioned drama was a small, beautifully choreographed scene between Tony Goldwyn and the incredibly talented Bellamy Young, after Olivia revealed that Fitz’s wife was raped by his father, thus explaining her emotional absence that lead to his affair. Their chemistry is immeasurable, despite Shonda Rhimes insistent push for an Olivia/Fitz romance. Here’s hoping for a marital reunion. Watch the clip below.

See you next season, Scandal!

Lindsay Appears on The View — WATCH NOW

No one has ever doubted Lindsay Lohan’s charm, beauty, and talent. That being said, everyone has doubted her ability to make a comeback, considering her many inconsistencies. Sure sobriety is a life-long struggle, but bad behavior has consequences, and some of that bad behavior is irreparable. As for the media’s fascination with the raucous red-head, it’s a little hard to explain. The View joined that fascination with Lindsay’s guest appearance. So is she reformed? First I’d like to know if she showed up on time.

Bob Saget Dated Katie Couric?

It’s far easier to simply stop calling than it is to curtly explain one’s disinterest. But in the entertainment biz, all bets are off. Watch Bob Saget awkwardly explain why he didn’t call Katie Couric after their date. To quote Greg Behrendt, he “just wasn’t that into her.” Watch below.
