Kris Jenner Lied About Kim Kardashian to Piers Morgan

Someone once told me that liars looks to the right when they answer a question. The best evidence of this theory is Kris Jenner’s response to Piers Morgan’s inquiry about Kim Kardashian’s short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. Watch below.

Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce — Was it a Hoax?

It’s time for Kim Kardashian to cash-out of reality television. Her 72 day marriage ended after a ridiculous wedding special that clearly exposed the flaws in her relationship. There’s a clip of her crying on Bruce Jenner’s shoulder because she misses her late father, and she says, “I don’t want Kris to see me emotional because he didn’t know my dad.” Um — huh? If you can’t cry on your future husband’s shoulder — there’s a problem.

But there’s a bigger issue at play here. Why is Kim Kardashian continuing the reality television madness? Rumor has it she’s worth well over $100 million, which means she can move to an island and drink mojitos for the rest of her life. If you want that kind of fame, then don’t get married and don’t have children. No relationship can survive with cameras constantly around, and any man that’s okay with that is intrinsically flawed.

I feel sorry for Kim Kardashian. She seems like a nice enough girl that got caught up in a whirlwind that she can’t escape, and she’s sacrificed her personal life because of it. Get off the train, Kim — there’s still time. And if the rumors are true and this was an elaborate hoax meant for cash, then she might just rot in hell.

Jackie Collins Interview — ‘Goddess of Vengeance’

Jackie Collins is one of those fabulous women that still manages to stay relevant after an astounding amount of success. She’s sold over 400 million copies of her books, and she’s still producing great, original material. Her latest book, ‘Goddess of Vengeance’, is just as fun as you’d expect. It follows her coveted protagonist, Lucky Santangelo, who’s running a highly successful hotel and casino in Las Vegas. When her casino is threatened, you get to see the quintessential Jackie Collins girl-power at its best. Lucky is joined by a new generation of Santangelos, who bring their own set of juicy drama. I was honored to interview the great Jackie Collins for her new novel. Enjoy!

After 28 books and a four decade long career, how do you continue to find inspiration for your stories?

Inspiration is all around me.  I just have to pick up or go to a Hollywood party!

Your novels often have very strong and beautiful female protagonists. Was this always your intention when you began to write, or did it evolve over time?

My object was to create strong positive role models for women. Female heroines who can kick ass!

There’s some fun dating in this book, particularly by Lucky Santangelo’s best friend, Venus. Is her character at all inspired by your own personal life?

Madonna was the muse for Venus, with touches of Beyonce, Cher, and Lady Gaga.  A true original and beautiful and strong diva with a penchant for gorgeous men!

I noticed that your characters curse a lot. As someone who greatly enjoys using profanity to express my point, I have to ask if this is a natural or calculated choice.

Natural of course.  That’s the way real people speak, and my characters are very real.

Hollywood these days tends to favor the very young. Is it tough to write a whole new generation of characters that fit today’s current trends?

Not at all.  I am a popular culture junkie and T.V. addict, so I am always in touch with everyone and everything.  I write for all colors, ages, and sexual orientation.  Something for everyone!

Michael Keaton In a BeetleJuice Sequel? — Yes, Please!

The only Tim Burton films I’ve ever enjoyed are the ones with Michael Keaton. That probably has more to do with Michael Keaton than Tim Burton, but that duo should have stayed together. So when I read that the writers for the upcoming sequel to Beetlejuice refuse to do the film without Keaton as their star, I felt like writing them a personal thank you for alerting the movie studio that not everyone is expendable — and Keaton is a Hollywood treasure. Here’s hoping the script is good enough — and the money makes it worth his while.

Movie Review: ‘Like Crazy’

Love is necessary but not sufficient for a relationship to survive. And that painful realization is beautifully illustrated in ‘Like Crazy.’ The film follows Anna (Felicity Jones), a British exchange student studying in Los Angeles, who falls in love with Jacob (Anton Yelchin). She overstays her visa to spend the summer with Jacob after graduation, which later results in a ban from the United States. Their attempt at a long distance relationship becomes the center of the film, and no matter how hard they fight against it, their love keeps them intertwined. The film presents some haunting questions about love. Should it be that hard? Should it cause that much pain? Is it worth fighting through the obstacles that shackle your happiness? And if it is truly love, and the obstacles are removed, does that automatically equate to a sustainable relationship? I won’t reveal how this movie ends, but I will say that it’s the most accurate portrayal of love I’ve ever seen on film.

Tara Reid Was Never Married — Clearly Needs Help

I don’t usually comment on celebrities in trouble, mostly because it’s not funny, and I try to keep this blog as light as possible. But when I stumbled across a video of Tara Reid discussing her “never-married-marriage,” I had to post it. The blogosphere annihilates Tara Reid for her public debauchery, but I’m just sad for her. There’s something very wrong in the video below, and I hope she gets help. No sense picking on someone when they’re down, other than to say that if her family isn’t pointing out her desperate need for help, then I will.

Dr. Drew Interviews Courtney Stodden — Deplorable

Remember when Dr. Drew was a real doctor? Now he’s just one of those television hacks that preys on the downfall of celebrities. And to make matters worse, he has a new, purposeless show that involves interviewing Z-list celebrities. Those “celebrities” include the 51 year old Doug Hutchinson (also known as “pedophile”) and the 17 year old Courtney Stodden (also known as “suffering from Stockholm syndrome”). And forgive me for picking on little children — but what’s wrong with Courtney Stodden’s face?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy v. Len Goodman — It’s War

Though I’d love for the very yummy Maksim Chmerkovskiy to show me that feisty temper in the privacy of my bedroom, it doesn’t fit on Dancing With the Stars. When Len Goodman insulted his Rumba, Maksim riled the audience and promoted their boos, which incited Len Goodman’s rage. Maksim then said that the professional dancers “kill themselves only to hear judgmental comments.” First, what did Maksim think he signed up for? This is a dancing show, and there are three judges on the panel that are paid to actually judge his dance. Second, it’s supposed to be fun. And he’s not being very fun. Third, his Rumba was terrible. Hope looked awkward and it had zero sex appeal. Did he expect a standing ovation? And finally, please don’t vote him off. He’s just too damn beautiful to look at every week.
