For a guy who once quit his writing job at Saturday Night Live only to return the next day and pretend as if it didn’t happen, it must be sweet redemption to rule the stage on his return. He’s Larry David after all, and his notorious irritability is beautifully complimented by his childlike glee. Watch below to see David flub his lines with laughter during the SNL dress rehearsal, in a very funny sketch that got slightly overshadowed by the brilliant ‘Bern Your Enthusiasm.’ Click the second video to see the more polished, live version.

It’s impossible to decipher whether the family featured on Steve Harvey’s ‘Family Feud’ is laughing with him or simply too dense to understand the severity of their stupidity. Grease: Live! Watch All the Performances Now
FOX joined the live television musical game, and if the early ratings are any indication, they hit it out of the ballpark. With a strong cast that specializes in acting, singing, AND dancing, they gave the audience everything they wanted, and apparently more. As an observational aside, I always find it interesting when the casting and costumes emulate the original actors that played the characters. It’s one thing to copy a story, it’s another to copy the casting decisions. Is Julianne Hough playing Sandy or is she playing Olivia Newton John’s version of Sandy? And is Vanessa Hudgens really playing Rizzo, or is she dressed up like Stockard Channing playing Rizzo? Speaking of Vanessa, as always, she stole the show. Having said that, everyone came to play, and it showed in each performance. Also, it’s refreshing to see original television offerings that bring families together. Watch the performances after the jump.

Nancy Grace Should Be Removed From Television . . . NOW
After watching the video below, I’m officially petitioning for Nancy Grace to be thrown off television. As an attorney, it’s deplorable that she so easily dismisses judicial injustice and leaps to an assumption of guilt, when our country is founded on a presumption of innocence. Yes, Brendan Dassey was convicted, but that does not make him guilty. Furthermore, if he is in fact guilty, does that make evidence-planting and coerced confessions without the presence of a parent or attorney okay? Because if it does, then the life of every innocent person is officially in jeopardy, because no one is safe. Dassey’s own attorney positioned his client against his own interest by intentionally being absent during his interrogation, and though his attorney was removed from the case as a result, his confession remained intact. As for Grace and Wahlberg stupidly arguing over “who is the victim,” it’s completely irrelevant. Perhaps we should remove trials altogether and just incarcerate people on a hunch? Everyone deserves a fair trial, and if you watched ‘Making a Murderer’ and feel both parties got one, then please never be on a jury.

Netflix’s ‘Making a Murderer’ — Judicial Corruption Exposed
Steven Avery served 18 years in prison in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin for a crime he did not commit, and two years after he was exonerated with newly developed DNA testing, he was convicted of murder, for which he was sentenced to life in prison. Netflix’s ‘Making a Murderer’ tells his story, starting with his trial. In the first episode of the new Netflix series we learned just how Avery’s original case went awry, and it’s mostly due to shocking government corruption. The state had an agenda, and they shaped the case in their favor. They influenced the witness’s memory of her attacker, they neglected to follow viable leads that implicated another man, they dismissed Avery’s key alibi witnesses, and then covered up their shocking infractions. Avery long felt they were out to get him, and 18 years later, with the help of the Wisconsin Innocence Project, he proved it.
Avery sought redemption for his wrongful conviction via a civil lawsuit, given that the government was outrageously cleared of any wrongdoing. Each deposition revealed the extent of their ethical infractions, and their blind desire to put Avery behind bars. And just as it became increasingly more embarrassing for everyone involved, and Avery was closer to a multi-million dollar settlement, something happened. Teresa Halbach, a 25 year old photographer, went missing, and Steven Avery was accused of her murder. According to Avery, she was on his property taking pictures of Avery’s Auto Salvage yard for Auto Trader magazine just before she vanished. Her car was found on his property with his blood inside, along with its key inside Avery’s bedroom. Her burned, charred remains were also discovered on his property, and his nephew confessed to having participated in killing her. But before you become convinced that he’s guilty from that aforementioned list of exculpatory evidence, WATCH THIS DOCUMENTARY, because nothing is as it seems.
The same individuals that wrongly convicted Avery the first time around are involved in his subsequent trial, which is a shocking conflict of interest. This also means that Avery’s DNA was available to them, and a vial of his blood was in fact tampered with. As for that key, it was found on the eighth search of Avery’s property, and the individual that located the key is the same individual involved in his original trial. And what about the victim’s car? A cop called in the plates to the victim’s car days before it was located on Avery’s property, which suggests that it was located in another area and moved to Avery’s yard for the purpose of framing him. It might seem outlandish, and though many might suggest it’s atrocious to accuse the state of such horrible behavior, they already proved themselves corrupt during Avery’s FIRST TRIAL, and they could obviously (and easily) do it again. In fact, the SHERIFF said during a television interview that it would be ridiculous to frame Avery, because if he wanted to get rid of him, he could just “make him disappear” instead. You might also wonder about the nephew’s confession. As soon as you read it in print, it’s easy to assume a confession cannot possibly be entirely manipulated, but this confession is on camera, and when you watch the documentary you’ll see for yourself just how a learning disabled teenager outside the presence of his mother and an attorney can be conned and bullied into a yes-or-no guessing game that indicates he might not even understand the questions.
Many of us know about government corruption, and many of us hear about it in the news in sound bites. But watching Steven Avery’s trial as it’s happening, with in-depth, behind the scenes depositions, interrogations, and interviews, exposes this darkness through a different lens. Even if Steven Avery committed this crime, which I don’t believe he did, it doesn’t much matter in the end. What matters is fairness, ethics, and the law, and none of that was followed here. Steven Avery deserves a FAIR trial with a FAIR judge that follows the laws of evidence and excludes unlawful searches and seizures. He deserves justice. And hopefully this Netflix documentary will give it to him.

Top 5 Most Disgruntled Television Stars
- KATHERINE HEIGL
Katherine Heigl’s professional plight takes many turns, beginning with her career-defining role on ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ Heigl had a hard time with the writing, and the creative differences caused her to remove her name from Emmy contention. She also took the side of co-star T.R Knight in his famous on-set feud with Isaiah Washington, followed by labeling the crew’s long hours as unfair. And if that wasn’t enough, she called her big-budget film, ‘Knocked Up’ “sexist.” Her shining star quickly dimmed and her career has yet to rebound.
2. ROB LOWE
Rob Lowe’s status as a Hollywood heartthrob has been more than complicated, with a series of well-known exits from Television’s top shows. Lowe left ‘The West Wing’ amid contentious contract negotiations, saying that everyone on the show received a raise except him. Though his account might be technically accurate, it’s missing some key components. Lowe’s salary started at a much higher number than his cast-mates, and despite their raise, they still didn’t catch up. Lowe wouldn’t take no for an answer, and he left the show.
3. DAVID CARUSO
David Caruso’s career ended almost as quickly as it began when he capitulated to stardom in 1993’s NYPD Blue. After failing to receive the raise he wanted the following year, he left in a huff and pursued film, which fell flat fast. Caruso remained relatively unemployed until 2002, when he resurrected his leading-man status in ‘CSI: Miami.’
4. SHELLY LONG
Though Shelly Long won’t admit regret for her choice to leave ‘Cheers’ in its 1987 height, the media will do it for her. Rumor has it Long resembled her snooty Diane Chambers character and fancied herself a movie star. The show continued for six more seasons, with Kirstie Alley stepping in as Ted Danson’s love interest, and Long’s career never quite rebounded.
5. DAVE CHAPPELLE

Dave Chappelle kicked his corporate gig to the curb and he left $50 million behind. Though some might suggest Comedy Central isn’t “corporate,” Chappelle would likely say otherwise, explaining that there were far too many suits interfering with his creative process, and the pressure became too much. He now lives in Ohio and has returned to his roots in stand-up comedy.
Julianna Margulies Talks ‘The Good Wife’ Feud: Archie Responds
Despite vigorous efforts by CBS and Juliana Margulies to squash feud rumors, the drama won’t die, and Margulies just added fuel to the fire. In an interview with Vulture, Margulies brushed off any bad blood with Archie Panjabi, saying, the decision to film her last scene with her costar via green screen was simply due to scheduling conflicts, as Panjabi was already committed to another show. For viewers that don’t know, the costars have avoided appearing on screen together for multiple seasons, and the audience has often suggested that their mutual dislike is responsible. Though Margulies wants to keep it quiet, Panjabi was less than pleased with her comment, insisting she was ready to film and no such scheduling conflict existed. While I understand the desire to avoid a public display of displeasure, I can’t help but think it’s extremely unprofessional to let personal problems impact a show’s story.
