Dina Lohan Needs to Lighten Up — Pissed at Glee

The first thing Lindsay Lohan needs to do when she exits rehab is fire her mother, Dina Lohan, as her manager.  She perpetuates Lindsay’s negative image in the press, by continually discussing her daughter’s issues.  Lindsay would have a much better chance of rehabilitating (no pun intended) her career if her mother would zip-it.  On this week’s Glee, Gwyneth Paltrow’s character discussed Lindsay’s rehab stints while teaching her Spanish class.  The bit was funny, and Lohan’s camp should laugh it off.  Unfortunately for Lindsay, her camp includes her horrendous mother, who is threatening to sue Glee for defamation.  Allow me to put this esquire thing to use for just one second — it’s not defamation to call someone “loca.”  So get over it Dina. Watch the clip below to see what all the fuss is about.

Matt Lauer Interviews Kanye West — Proves Matt Lauer’s a Prick

Matt Lauer is a gigantic douchebag. I’m glad I opened with that, because I’m often told to get to the point with my writing. He interviewed Kanye West and, though I’m not a fan of the often ill-tempered Kanye West, I completely agree with his complaints about the interview below. Lauer opened the interview with questions about President Bush, referencing Kanye’s famous statement, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Kanye immediately apologized for his comment, stating that he thought it was wrong, and that he does not think President Bush is racist. But Lauer didn’t stop there. Instead of accepting Kanye’s apology and moving on to the next question, he continued to berate him, showing him another clip of the interview, and then asking Kanye to “look at his face.” I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — Matt Lauer is a judgmental prick in his interviews, and there is absolutely no reason to harass Kanye after he already sincerely apologized for the comment. It was cheap and unnecessary, and I’m surprised Kanye’s people even agreed to this interview, considering Lauer is known for this kind of low-grade behavior. And if you think I’m defending Kanye because I’m a loyal fan, you’d be wrong.  I often think he lets his temper overshadow his talent. Not this time, though. This time his rage is justified.

Denise Richards Talks Charlie Sheen on Joy Behar

Denise Richards has been on my radar lately, mostly because she changed her image so drastically in the press. For a long time, Richards was accused of stealing her best friend’s husband, and no matter how many times she insisted otherwise, she was trounced by the media (including the very judgmental Matt Lauer). With Charlie Sheen’s arrest, I assumed that Richards would re-hash her life with him, and further confirm that she was right to file for divorce. Instead, she has stayed quiet, insisting that she was “there for him in the hospital,” and she has some very beautiful memories of their life together. I officially love her. Good job handling this mess Denise.  Watch the video below to hear her discuss the sensitive topic.

Breaking News: I Don’t Care About Lindsay Lohan

With the news that Lindsay Lohan is “doing well” at her fifth try at rehab, I’d like to officially proclaim that this is my last post dedicated exclusively to her. I would also like to politely ask the Hollywood media to start actually reporting on Hollywood, instead of washed-up actors that are only making the papers because of their bad behavior. It’s true that the girl has a considerable amount of decent movies under her belt at a young age (Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls), and I appreciate that she’s actually famous for something, unlike Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, who are famous for nothing. Having said that, it’s been a full six years since she’s had a quality role, and until then, I’m declaring a moratorium on Lohan coverage. That includes every Lohan, such as her parents (Michael and Dina Lohan), who are equally guilty for capitalizing on their daughter’s fame. Celebrities should not make money off their terrible behavior. So when Lohan exits rehab and starts selling pictures for thousands of dollars of her “reformed self,” I encourage everyone not to look at them. I will try my best to adhere to my own rule.  I’ve posted a very old picture of Lindsay on the right, to remember the days when she was promoting something positive.

Welcome Back to The View — My Barbara Walters Tribute

Barbara Walters is back on The View, and no one is happier than me.  Growing up, I planned to be just like Babs.  I often find myself at Starbucks phrasing questions to my friends the way I think Barbara would, but for some reason I don’t get the same tearful disclosures that she does.  When I watch interviews today, I become infuriated at the horrible, judgmental interviewers (not to name names — but like Matt Lauer, for instance), and I yearn for the days when Walters interviewed everyone and their mother.  Lucky for me, I get my Barbara fill on The View, where she’s much like the Queen of England at a petting zoo.  She’s sadly been on hiatus due to heart surgery, and The View was noticeably different.  Ironically, her departure aged the show by about  thirty years, with the remaining hosts constantly discussing the gross effects of aging.  So welcome back Barbara.  It wasn’t the same without you.  Further Reading: When Did The View Become a Nursing Home?

Dina Lohan and Matt Lauer — Tales of an Enabler

Rumor has it that Dina Lohan is pissed off at Matt Lauer for the interview below, feeling that he was too tough on her.  While it’s true that I hate Matt Lauer’s judgmental interview style, I actually think he was too easy on Lohan, who consistently defends Lindsay on television, insisting that her spirits were fantastic in jail, and she’s doing great in rehab.  Wow, Lindsay must be quite the optimistic person.  Who knew that jail and rehab could be so enjoyable? I don’t understand why Dina Lohan does these interviews at all, considering they do nothing but hurt Lindsay’s reputation.  She comes across as an enabling liar, and isn’t press savvy in the least.  My advice for Lindsay is to get some help, do an un-paid Barbara Walters interview, and then go completely underground until she has another role.  Unlike all the other famous Hollywood partiers (i.e. Paris Hilton), Lohan actually got famous for a talent (well, a non-sex related talent).  So get back to it.

Jesse James Sits Down With Nightline – Vicki Mabrey Seems Angry

Jesse James agreed to an interview to “set the record straight,” and unfortunately, he chose a judgmental woman to do the interview.  I realize it’s better for him to be interviewed by a female, given that a man (such as Matt Lauer) might high-five his pussy conquests mid-interview, but wouldn’t it have been better to choose someone a little less angry?  Judging from the clip, Vicki Mabrey is one step away from asking the question pervading her mind – “What the fuck is wrong with you Jesse James!?”  Thankfully, it appears that she bit her tongue before her head exploded.  Barbara Walters would have been the obvious choice, but since she’s recovering from heart surgery, I imagine he chose what he thought was the second-best option. Watch the clip below and tell me if you agree.

The Dish – Tabloid Review

Mel Gibson denies that he cheated on Oksana Grigorieva with porn star Violet Kowal while Grigorieva was pregnant.  Grigorieva has yet to confirm the reports, but she originally told the press that they split “suddenly and recently,” and the “truth will come out.”  Gibson is such a stand up guy, I can’t possibly believe he’d be a cheater.
Anne Hathaway’s new boyfriend Adam Shulman, is being accused of theft.  He allegedly walked off with a mural painted by street artist Mr. Brainwash.  The mural was on a building in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district.  If this story is true, she sure knows how to pick them.
Larry King and his wife Shawn King have reconciled.  To quote the great Howard Stern, “why get half of Larry’s money when you could have all of it.”
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt may not film the series finale of ‘The Hills.’  I suppose if you want to stay on a television show, you should refrain from accusing the Executive Producer of sexual harassment.
Britney Spears and her boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick have “split professionally.”  They are officially no longer mixing business with pleasure.  He’s just her boyfriend now.
Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft is pregnant.  Love really does exist outside of television.
Matt Lauer and his wife, Annette Roque, have split amidst reports that he cheated.  Lauer reminds me of that dorky kid in high school that never got the girl and now that he’s famous he wants as much pussy as humanly possible.

Kevin Federline Apologizes to Shar Jackson for Cheating on her with Britney Spears

On this season of ‘Celebrity Fit Club,’ Kevin Federline apologized to his ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson, during a pretty cringe-worthy scene.  Though Britney Spears is never directly mentioned by name, it is clear what he is apologizing for.  He claims to have “got caught up in [his] own selfishness.  You might remember that Spears and Federline got together while Shar was pregnant with her second child with Federline.  She did an interview at the time with US Weekly, saying that they were very much together when he took up with Spears.  Spears claimed during an infamous, tearful interview with Matt Lauer, that she did not know about Jackson when she began dating Federline.  Got that?  Watch below.
